Recently, with the pouring of the final truck of crown concrete, the first secondary lining construction at the entrance portal of the Tongluoshan Tunnel on the TJ1 project of the Sichuan Dazhu to Chongqing Dianjiang Expressway (abbreviated as Dadian Expressway), undertaken by Sichuan Road & Bridge Transportation Construction Group, was successfully completed. This marks that the main structure construction at the entrance portal of the Tongluoshan Tunnel has achieved phased results, laying a solid foundation for subsequent construction.

The Dazhu to Dianjiang Expressway (Sichuan section) project route starts near Paifang Township, Dazhu County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, connecting with the G65 Baomao Expressway and aligning with the planned Nanchong to Dazhu Expressway. It passes through Gaoxue Town, Tongjia Township, and Tiancheng Town, and ends near Shizi Town (at the Sichuan-Chongqing border), connecting with the planned Dianjiang to Wulong Expressway. The route length is 34.687 kilometers. The main line is built to a two-way six-lane expressway standard, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a subgrade width of 33.5 meters. It includes a total of 36 bridges totaling 11,301.5 meters, two tunnels totaling 8,593 meters, and 4 interchanges. The TJ1 section of the Dazhu to Dianjiang Expressway (Sichuan section) is located from Miaoba Town (Paifang Township) to Mama Town (Liujiahe Village) in Dazhu County, Dazhou City, with a main line length of 13.996 kilometers. It includes 2 interchanges (Paifang Hub and Gaoxue Interchange), a total of 18 bridges, and 0.5 tunnels. The Tongluoshan Tunnel is one of the controlling main line works of the Dazhu to Dianjiang Expressway (Sichuan section), with a total length of 6,530 meters.

According to the on-site project manager, the successful completion of the first secondary lining construction at the entrance portal of the Tongluoshan Tunnel provides strong assurance for the smooth progress of subsequent construction. Once the Dadian Expressway project is completed, it will promote regional economic development, better align with the Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration Development Plan, advance the integration of the Sichuan-Chongqing region, strengthen cooperation in various fields such as industry, logistics, and environmental protection, and drive the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomeration.
