On August 25, as the owner's representative issued the order, machinery roared and ceremonial cannons fired on site as the No. 1 pile foundation of Pier 185 of the Chuhe Grand Bridge broke ground. With this, the general construction contract D.S04.X-TA01 for the Nanjing to Chuhe Suburban Railway (Nanjing Section) project officially commenced construction, marking that the Ningchu Suburban Railway TA01 contract has entered a new construction phase and raising the curtain on accelerating and advancing the construction tasks of the entire line.

The Nanjing to Chuhe Suburban Railway (Nanjing Section) starts from the Jiangsu-Anhui provincial boundary, passes through Beidou Industrial Park Station, and ends at Nanjing North Station. The TA01 contract consists entirely of elevated track, including one elevated station, with a mileage range of DK49+640.193 to DK52+440.322 and a total length of 2.8 kilometers. Once the line is completed, it will shorten the distance between Nanjing and Chuzhou, bring a more convenient transportation environment to both places, improve residents' travel efficiency, and inject new vitality into the rapid development of the regional economy. As the project gradually advances, the Ningchu Suburban Railway will become an important link connecting the provincial capital with the city, bringing more convenience and well-being to the people of Jiangsu and Anhui.
