Recently, the government procurement platform supporting the development of green building materials, whose construction was led by the Xi'an Municipal Finance Bureau, was officially launched, providing support for Xi'an's active exploration of a new path of high-quality development featuring ecological priority, conservation and intensive use, and green and low-carbon growth. To accelerate the promotion and application of the policy of government procurement supporting green building materials to enhance building quality in Xi'an's engineering construction sector, the Xi'an Municipal Finance Bureau, on the basis of thorough research and needs assessment, built the government procurement platform supporting the development of green building materials, which integrates functions such as a green building materials product database, a building materials enterprise database, a pilot project database, electronic full-process procurement of green building materials products, data supervision and statistics, and operational services, thereby realizing full-process electronic procurement, management and services for green building materials. Li Yue'e, Director of the Government Procurement Management Division of the Xi'an Municipal Finance Bureau, stated that the Xi'an Municipal Finance Bureau will, together with relevant competent departments and in accordance with the division of responsibilities, step up management of the implementation effects of government procurement of green building materials through the platform, improve the platform management mechanism and the market access and traceability linkage mechanisms, strengthen policy incentives and guidance, promote the certification and application of green building materials products, and improve the functions and services of the electronic platform.
