It is hoped that at this international construction machinery exhibition, Chinese entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs from various countries present will engage in in-depth exchanges, gain friendship, and conclude a rich array of project agreements.

Two-Way Journey: Jointly Building an International Platform for Economic and Trade Exchange in the Southeast Asian Construction Machinery Industry Chain
A grand event that crosses the ocean is the "two-way journey" between Chinese construction machinery enterprises "going global" and the demands of the Southeast Asian market. The Southeast Asia Sub-exhibition of the Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition has now been held for two consecutive editions. Through the window of this overseas sub-exhibition, the exhibition aims to seize the new opportunities brought by the opening of the RCEP region and, through exhibitions and forums, organize Chinese construction machinery enterprises to go global as a group, expand into Southeast Asian and Belt and Road markets, establish close collaborative channels with construction and engineering contractors, associations, and major clients in major Southeast Asian countries, and comprehensively enhance the internationalization and professionalism of the Changsha International Construction Equipment Exhibition.

The reporter learned on site that the three-day exhibition has a total exhibition area of 12,000 square meters and features five major specialized exhibition zones: construction machinery, mining machinery, building machinery, construction machinery supporting parts, and agricultural machinery. More than 100 exhibitors and thousands of exhibits are on grand display, showcasing new products, new technologies, and new concepts in construction machinery to global buyers, and composing the majestic march of the Chinese equipment legion accelerating its going-global pace.
Zhou Zhangsheng, Second-Level Inspector of the Hunan Provincial Department of Commerce, said in his speech: "Hunan and Malaysia enjoy close people-to-people bonds and complementary industries. Riding the east wind of the 50th anniversary of China-Malaysia diplomatic relations, friendly exchanges between the two sides have continued to deepen, people-to-people exchanges have continued to expand, and economic and trade cooperation has yielded fruitful results. In 2023, bilateral trade reached 36.5 billion yuan; Hunan has cumulatively established 43 overseas investment enterprises in Malaysia, with a Chinese contracted amount of outbound direct investment of 840 million US dollars. Especially in rail transit, construction machinery, and infrastructure construction, Hunan and Malaysia have a broad foundation for cooperation and significant complementary advantages, achieving the goals of shared industrial prosperity, joint scientific and technological creation, and resource sharing."

Cooperation and Exchange: Jointly Creating a New Future for Belt and Road Regional Development
With the theme "High-end, Intelligent, Green—A New Generation of Construction Machinery," and in order to promote in-depth exchange and development of the construction machinery industries of the two places, the exhibition will concurrently hold the Southeast Asia Construction Machinery and Mining Machinery Cooperation and Development Forum, the Agricultural Machinery Industry Chain Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference, the Construction Machinery Remanufactured (Second-hand) Equipment Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference, and the Construction Machinery and Building Equipment and Heavy Equipment Technology and Business Matchmaking Conference, and will organize 15 to 20 business matchmaking meetings between enterprises, setting the stage for Chinese and foreign investors and investment promoters.
