Recently, all 246 underground diaphragm wall panels were completed for the Chengbei Road Station of Bid Section 1 of the Jiading-Minhang Line of the Shanghai Suburban Railway, which is invested in and constructed by Shanghai Shentie and built by Shanghai Construction Group.

Chengbei Road Station of Bid Section 1 is located at the intersection of Shengzhu Road and Chengbei Road in Jiading District, laid out east-west along Shengzhu Road. It is a two-level underground island-type station with a total length of 632.2 meters and a standard section width of 21.8 meters, featuring 4 entrances and exits and 3 groups of ventilation pavilions. The main excavation pit of the station has an excavation depth of between 21.1 meters and 23.8 meters, adopts the open-cut sequential construction method, and is divided into 3 construction zones.

Under the overall deployment and advance organization of Shanghai Shentie, the project team strictly controlled the progress of trench excavation according to the on-site geological conditions. To ensure the verticality of the trenches, the frequency of ultrasonic testing was increased during construction, and the verticality of the trench panels was corrected in a timely manner. Experts in the field of underground diaphragm wall construction were invited to review and provide technical guidance on various construction plans, offering valuable suggestions on key aspects such as construction technology, safety of reinforcement cage hoisting, concrete mix proportions, and slurry replacement ratios, thereby ensuring the smooth completion of the station's underground diaphragm wall work.
