On August 19, 2024, the press conference for China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2025) was grandly held in Beijing. At the conference, Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General of China Construction Machinery Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) and Chairman of Beijing Tianshi Huagong International Exhibition Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote speech titled "Meticulous Organization   Full Commitment to Making BICES 2025 a Success."

Ladies and gentlemen, user friends, industry colleagues, and friends from the news media, good morning to you all!

Today, BICES 2025 China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition, which carries major global influence, has officially begun the countdown to its preparatory work, on the basis that all preliminary preparations are in place. Just now, President Su Zimeng of the Association, on behalf of the organizers, offered an outlook on BICES 2025 and extended an invitation to friends from around the world, warmly welcoming and cordially inviting exhibiting enterprises and institutions, the broad community of users, enthusiastic visitors, news media, and friends from all sectors of society to come to exhibit, attend meetings, visit, conduct inspections, exchange ideas, cooperate, and enjoy sightseeing and tourism in the golden September—the most beautiful season in Beijing! Honorary President Qi Jun and Special Advisor of the Association reviewed and introduced the development history of BICES and put forward hopes and requirements for its future development, expressing the expectation that through everyone's joint efforts, BICES—an industry exhibition under China's own national brand—will be built into a world-class grand event for the construction machinery industry.

Below, I will introduce to you the overall overview of BICES 2025 and the relevant preparatory work.

 I. Time and Venue of BICES 2025 

After comprehensive consideration, the BICES 2025 Organizing Committee has decided: BICES 2025 is scheduled to be held from September 23–26, 2025 (Tuesday to Friday) at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue).

September in Beijing marks the most beautiful golden autumn season. Mr. Lao She once said: "What heaven looks like, I do not know, but judging from my life experience, the autumn of Peiping is heaven." In golden autumn, Beijing has ginkgo along its roads, red leaves on its hills, reeds in its lakes, and maple leaves setting off the red tiles and grey bricks of the ancient city walls; inside and outside the capital, every plant and tree is touched by the brushstrokes of autumn colors. Golden September is also the best season for hosting all kinds of events in the capital—desirable and worth looking forward to.

The China International Exhibition Center Shunyi Venue, as the exhibition venue in northern China most suitable for displaying large construction machinery, is located in the Tianzhu Airport City Business District of Shunyi, Beijing, adjacent to the Capital International Airport to the east and close to the Wenyu River Ecological Corridor to the west. The surrounding road network consists of the Fifth Ring Road, Sixth Ring Road, Airport Expressway, Jingcheng Expressway, Jingmi Road, and others, with direct access via Metro Line 15, offering convenient transportation. After hosting four consecutive BICES exhibitions, its overall operational experience has been continuously enriched, its service plans continuously improved, and its service quality continuously enhanced, which will provide important guarantees for the successful hosting of BICES 2025.

 II. Theme of BICES 2025 

The theme of BICES 2025 is: "High-end, Green, and Intelligent Future."

The exhibition theme "High-end, Green, and Intelligent Future" highlights the industry's firm implementation of the spirit of a series of strategic deployments set forth at the 20th National Congress of the Party and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee concerning building a modern industrial system, promoting the "high-end, intelligent, and green" development of manufacturing, and advancing comprehensive green transformation.

The exhibition theme "High-end, Green, and Intelligent Future" focuses on the continuous innovation carried out by the industry in recent years in "high-end, intelligent, and green" development and in cultivating new quality productive forces, the ** achievements made, and the major results of their promotion and application.

The exhibition theme "High-end, Green, and Intelligent Future" represents forward-looking guidance for the industry's future development direction. It provides important guidance for the industry's next step in comprehensively planning its strategic development plan for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.

 III. Exhibition Area Planning of BICES 2025 

In accordance with the theme "High-end, Green, and Intelligent Future," and based on the actual situation of the industry over the past two years—including its complete, accurate, and comprehensive implementation of the new development philosophy, accelerated construction of a new development pattern, accelerated promotion of the industry's "high-end, intelligent, and green" transformation, and the remarkable achievements made in promoting the optimization and upgrading of the entire industrial chain, as well as a series of newly emerged new technologies, new products, new construction methods, new services, and new solutions—and in light of the specific conditions of the venue, BICES 2025 will feature a total of four themed exhibition halls, one outdoor exhibition area, and thirteen special zones.

The four themed exhibition halls are: the Green Development Theme Hall; the Major National Equipment Theme Hall; the High-end Supporting Components and Strong Foundation Engineering Theme Hall; and the Intelligentization and Industrial Internet Theme Hall.

The one outdoor exhibition area is: a comprehensive display area focusing on enterprises' high-end, intelligent, green, and large-scale equipment, technologies, and services.

The thirteen special zones are: the New Energy Construction Machinery Industry Chain and Supporting Components Zone; the Green Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Zone; the Green Construction Technology and Equipment Zone; the Remanufacturing and Recycling Technology and Equipment Zone; the Multi-purpose Attachments Zone; the Aftermarket Production, Sales, Service, and Retrofit Technology and Equipment Zone; the Rental Equipment and Services Zone; the Industrial Cluster Advantageous Equipment Zone; the Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative (SRDI) Enterprises Zone; the Emergency Rescue Equipment and Ice and Snow Equipment Zone; the Commercial Vehicles and Logistics Equipment Zone; the Construction Machinery Culture Experience Zone; and Other Special Zones.

 IV. Relevant Exhibition Organization Policies for BICES 2025 

Adhering to the original aspiration of coming from the industry and serving the industry, the BICES Organizing Committee has decided after careful study to introduce the following policies for BICES 2025 during the exhibition organization stage:

1. On the basis of continuously improving service quality, the booth prices for BICES 2025 will remain unchanged from BICES 2023;

2. Exhibitors who submit the application form and pay a 10% deposit before December 25, 2024, will be granted a 5% discount on the total booth fee;

3. In booth allocation, arrangements will be made in an overall manner based on exhibitors' participation history in previous editions, combined with the time of application and the time of prepayment;

4. After submitting the exhibition application, exhibitors may receive free publicity on the exhibition's official website, WeChat official account, and event promotional reports, and will be given priority recommendation for publicity through the organizers' channels, such as the Association's member newsletter, official website, and WeChat platform;

5. Priority recommendation to participate in various activities organized by the organizers, such as domestic and international exhibitions organized by the Association and others.

It is expected that booth space for BICES 2025 will be relatively tight, so relevant industry units wishing to exhibit are advised to plan and arrange early! Ladies and gentlemen, friends, since its founding in 1989, BICES has been held for sixteen consecutive editions and has developed five major advantages: industry advantage, regional advantage, venue advantage, brand advantage, and organizer advantage. The grand occasion of BICES 2023, held from September 20–23, 2023, is still vivid in our memory: BICES 2023 had 1,320 exhibitors and a display area of 150,000 square meters; during the exhibition, 150,000 professional visitors from more than 70 countries and regions came to visit and exchange, with over 300,000 online and offline visitors, more than 100 high-quality events, and many large central construction enterprises and major customers visiting the exhibition in groups; more than 200 *** and industry media outlets were on site to report, and the event received widespread praise from all sectors.

The estimated targets for BICES 2025: the number of exhibitors will reach 2,000, the display area will exceed 150,000 square meters, and during the exhibition many large central construction enterprises, major customer groups, international procurement delegations, and others will visit; on-site visitors are expected to exceed 200,000, high-quality events will continue to exceed 100, and more than 200 *** and industry media outlets will be on site to report.

Over the next year or more, the organizers and undertaker will fully leverage the five major advantages of BICES, adhere to the fundamental purpose of providing good service to exhibitors and visitors, plan ahead, arrange scientifically, organize meticulously, and implement earnestly, making unremitting efforts to build BICES into a world-class grand event for the construction machinery industry.

Third,On the basis of international publicity and promotion carried out in overseas regions such as Brazil, France, Russia, and Turkey, we will further strengthen, through multiple channels and methods, the global publicity and promotion of BICES, this industry grand event of major global influence.

Fourth,We will further plan, innovate, and organize various special activities during the exhibition. Concurrently, we will continue to hold the selection of the BICES Construction Machinery Technology Innovation Award and User Satisfaction Award, the "CRCC Heavy Industry Cup"—the 8th BICES Creative Design Competition for Construction Machinery and Special Vehicles, user festival activities, public open days, and other special activities. As preparatory work continues to advance, we will keep exploring innovations and continuously couple in activities that create greater value for BICES, exhibitors, and users, and we also invite industry colleagues and media friends to actively offer suggestions.
