Recently, the main tunnel of the Anzitou Tunnel section from inclined shaft No. 3 to No. 4 of the Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Fuxian Power Plant railway dedicated line project was successfully holed through, marking a **node in the holing-through of the entire line's tunnels and laying a solid foundation for the full-line tunnel breakthrough and the realization of overall coordinated objectives.

It is understood that the Fuxian railway project has a total length of 15.221 km, with main works including subgrade, bridges, tunnels, buildings, track, four-electric systems (communication, signal, power supply and electrification), and station yards, among which the Anzitou Tunnel is a key controlling node project of this project, with a total length of 9,555 meters and 4 trackless transport inclined shafts. It is a diesel single-track railway; the maximum buried depth of the tunnel is 224 meters and the minimum is 1.2 meters; the surrounding rock grades are Class IV and Class V, and the drill-and-blast construction method is adopted. The contract period for the tunnel is 16 months.

The main tunnel section from inclined shaft No. 3 to No. 4 of the Anzitou Tunnel holed through this time was excavated by the drill-and-blast method with full-face construction technology. During construction, the project team overcame difficulties such as weak and fractured strata, extremely strong water inflow and other adverse geological conditions, as well as unfavorable conditions including construction through shallow-buried strata and undercrossing villages and existing roads. Through advance planning, scientific organization and strict management, and by strictly following the principles of "advance pipe forepoling, strict grouting, short excavation, weak blasting, rapid sealing and frequent measurement," and by using information-based and intelligent management means for scientific management, the team ensured the safe, high-quality and smooth holing-through of this section.

It is learned that the construction of the Fuxian railway project is of great significance for improving the regional transportation network, realizing the rapid transport of coal for Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Fuxian Power Generation Co., Ltd., ensuring the stability, reliability and sustainability of coal supply for the power plant, and promoting local economic and social development.
