Since the beginning of this year, a total of 11 projects in Shushan District have been listed as provincial commencement mobilization projects, with a total investment of 8.018 billion yuan.

Major projects throughout the district are at full "heat," and one can constantly feel the vigorous vitality of industrial development and the appeal of project clustering. Projects to strengthen, supplement, extend, and consolidate the chain are commencing construction one after another, accelerating the transformation of the district's advantageous industries from individual points into chains and from chains into clusters.
Shushan District focuses on industries such as environmental technology, the digital economy, new energy, and new materials, and concentrates efforts on strengthening, supplementing, and extending industrial chains.
This year's selected provincial major projects, including the Zhongbei High-Efficiency Power and Energy Storage Battery PACK Project and the Wanjiang Renhe Low-Carbon Science and Technology Park (Phase II) Project, are all under orderly construction.
On August 7, the Zhongbei High-Efficiency Power and Energy Storage Battery PACK Project, located in Yunhe New City, was under construction and progressing smoothly. The project plans a total investment of 2 billion yuan, with a first-phase investment of 1 billion yuan, a land area of approximately 70 mu, and a total floor area of approximately 51,800 square meters.
"In the first phase, two R&D buildings, two production plants, one warehousing and logistics plant, and one supporting plant will be built. At present, five buildings have been successfully topped out, with overall progress reaching 70%, and production is planned to begin in the third quarter of this year," said the relevant person in charge of the project.
It is reported that the first-phase project will build a production line for lithium-ion batteries and energy storage systems with an annual capacity of 5 GWh, and is expected to achieve an annual output value of 4.5 billion yuan and annual tax revenue of approximately 180 million yuan, empowering and enhancing Shushan District's accelerated development of the new energy industry.
On August 8, the Wanjiang Renhe Low-Carbon Science and Technology Park (Phase II) Project celebrated its topping out. The project covers a land area of approximately 20 mu, with a planned total floor area of approximately 53,000 square meters, including eight multi-story buildings, two high-rise buildings, and a podium above ground.
The Wanjiang Renhe Low-Carbon Science and Technology Park is planned to be built into a specialized high-tech park, focusing on the integrated industry of big data and the new generation of information technology, closely tied to the real economy, and introducing a batch of technology enterprises with high technological content, strong growth potential, and high added value, covering fields such as cloud computing, big data, intelligent manufacturing, and R&D centers.
　　Advancing Toward the "New" to Cultivate New Industrial Advantages
How can development be empowered through project breakthroughs? Shushan District has carefully planned emerging industries such as new energy and modern service industries to drive continuous "new launches" in project construction. This time, 6 projects have been listed in the third batch of provincial commencement mobilization projects, with a total investment of 3.373 billion yuan, including 1 manufacturing project with a total investment of 300 million yuan; 1 infrastructure project with a total investment of 734 million yuan; 1 public welfare project with a total investment of 359 million yuan; and 3 service industry projects with a total investment of 1.98 billion yuan.
The Shengwei Electronics Residual Current Protection Equipment R&D and Production Base Project is one of the newly commenced mobilization projects this time. The project is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Folingzhai Road and Zhaoxun Road in Yunhe New City, with a land area of approximately 21 mu and a floor area of approximately 20,000 square meters. It will build production lines for residual current protection equipment, integrated molded chip inductors, transformers, reactors, and other products, promoting the industrial structure to advance toward the "new" and the energy structure to shift toward the "green."
"We are making great efforts to guarantee the input of construction factors such as manpower, materials, and machinery, and vigorously advancing the preliminary work of the project. At present, the project is progressing in an orderly manner as planned," introduced the person in charge of the project.

A batch of people's livelihood and transportation projects are also being accelerated. Builders remain on the front lines, braving high temperatures, racing against schedules, and ensuring progress.
On August 6, at the construction site of the G312 He-Liu Road (Xinqiao Avenue-Xiaomiao Boundary) Rapid Reconstruction Project, excavators swung their giant arms, transport vehicles shuttled back and forth, and construction workers carried out construction safely and orderly. "We will make every effort to guarantee project construction and strive to complete the main structure of the elevated bridge on half of the alignment before the end of the year," said the relevant person in charge of the project.
According to reports, the project has a total length of 9.4 kilometers and is divided into nodes such as Xinqiao Avenue, Zaolin Residential Community, Shushan Avenue, and 095 Township Road. As a key project in the construction of Hefei's rapid transportation network system, it will greatly improve traffic efficiency between the two places and inject new vitality into the coordinated development of areas along the route.
The Shushan Workers' Cultural Palace Project, located at the intersection of Wangjiang West Road and Xicheng Avenue in Yunhe New City, is also being rapidly advanced. The project has a total investment of approximately 350 million yuan, a land area of approximately 40 mu, and a total floor area of approximately 37,600 square meters. Upon completion, it will provide services such as education and training, sports, and cultural and entertainment activities, continuously improving the urban functions of Yunhe New City and, in the course of promoting high-quality development, continuously realizing the people's aspiration for a better life.

Shushan District has established and improved a reserve pool of policy-based funding projects such as central budget investment and local special bonds, applying for 6 central budget investment projects, 17 ultra-long-term special government bond projects, and 3 large-scale equipment renewal projects. At the same time, it has done a good job in project inclusion in the database and statistical enrollment. In the first half of the year, 38 new projects were included in the database, with a total investment of 13.8 billion yuan.
