It is learned that this year Jiangmen City has arranged 615 key construction projects, with a total investment of 738 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 104.2 billion yuan. In the first half of the year, a cumulative investment of 60.7 billion yuan was completed, accounting for 58.3% of the annual investment plan, 8.3 percentage points faster than the scheduled progress, achieving the goal of completing more than half of the task at the halfway point in time. It is introduced that this year Jiangmen City has 127 projects listed as provincial key construction projects, with a total investment of 338.4 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 48.45 billion yuan. In the first half of the year, an investment of 27.21 billion yuan was completed, accounting for 56.2% of the annual investment plan, 6.2 percentage points faster than the scheduled progress.
In the first half of the year, infrastructure projects among Jiangmen City's key projects completed a cumulative investment of 15.42 billion yuan. 115 projects including the reconstruction project of the Xinhui Huicheng to Niuwan section of G240 Line and the relocation of Sanbu Port progressed faster than schedule, and 11 projects including the Jiangmen City Urban Bus Passenger Station (Phase I), Ronghao Water Industry Function Center, and the infrastructure project of Taishan City Daguanghai Bay Economic and Trade Science and Technology Innovation Base have completed their annual investment tasks ahead of schedule.
In terms of expressways, the Gaolan Port Bridge and Huangmaohai Bridge of the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Channel have achieved closure, the reconstruction and expansion of Yinzhou Lake Expressway and Jianghe Expressway are accelerating, and the reconstruction and expansion of Zhongjiang Expressway has passed completion acceptance, achieving eight-lane traffic along the entire line.
In terms of railways, the construction of the Shenzhen-Jiangmen Railway and the Zhuhai-Jiangmen section of the Zhuhai-Zhaoqing High-Speed Railway is accelerating, and the comprehensive development of the Guangzhou-Foshan-Jiangmen-Zhuhai intercity railway and the station-city integration project are being advanced in an orderly manner.
At the same time, preliminary work on key projects such as the Nanxin Expressway (already approved), Chuandao Offshore Wind Power, and Taishan Nuclear Power Phase II is being accelerated. Port construction is also continuously accelerating: the main dredging works of Phase II of the Yamen Seaward Channel have been completed and trial navigation has begun, Phase I of Huajin Wharf has been completed and put into operation, and the relocation project of Kaiping Sanbu Port is being implemented at an accelerated pace. New progress has also been made in airport planning and construction: the prerequisite special topics related to the approval of the Taishan General Airport have basically been completed, and the preliminary site selection study for the Jiangmen Regional Airport has been completed.

From the perspective of investment completion by industry, the investment completion progress of categorized projects such as livelihood security projects and industrial projects all exceeds the scheduled progress.
In the first half of the year, industrial projects among the city's key projects completed a cumulative investment of 36.28 billion yuan, with an investment completion rate of 59.7%, 9.7 percentage points faster than the scheduled progress. 81 industrial projects including Xinhui Foster New Materials, Kaitesi Smart Electrical Appliances, and the Phase II capital increase and production expansion project of Umicore started construction. 20 projects including Jianghai Desen Equipment and Enping Minhao Hoisting Machinery were completed and put into production. 63 projects including Meida New Materials, Xinyi Energy-Saving Glass, Xinhui Yinze, and the Pengsha Robot Intelligent Manufacturing Park project completed their annual investment tasks ahead of schedule.
In the first half of the year, livelihood security projects among Jiangmen City's key projects completed a cumulative investment of 9.034 billion yuan, with an investment completion rate of 62.4%, 12.4 percentage points faster than the scheduled progress. With the support of special bond funds, projects such as the new campus of Jiangmen Central Hospital, the New Tertiary Hospital, and the Vocational Education Park of Enping Industrial Park have completed their main structures. 14 livelihood security projects including Jiangmen Junming Joy World Plaza, the Children's Health Building of Jiangmen Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the upgrading and renovation of the Hub New City Area, and the Jiangmen Campus (Phase I) of Guangzhou Software Institute have completed (or basically completed) their annual investment tasks ahead of schedule. The new campus construction project of Taishan Peiying Vocational Technical School, the Industrial New City School, and the High-tech Zone ** Primary School are being accelerated and are expected to be put into use in September.
　Factor guarantee breaks through the "bottleneck" of project advancement
Since the beginning of this year, Jiangmen City has actively implemented the "Several Measures on Strengthening Resource Factor Guarantee to Promote the Construction of Key Projects," effectively breaking through the factor bottlenecks of major projects.
In terms of funding, it has actively sought support from higher-level funds such as special bonds and ultra-long-term government bonds. In terms of energy conservation review, projects such as Jingce Electronics, Xindi Dyeing and Finishing, and Jinhan Metal have obtained provincial approval; 20 projects have completed energy conservation review, with 58,000 tons of standard coal equivalent of energy use approved, ensuring the energy demand of projects. In terms of land guarantee, it has implemented "one project, one list" management of natural resource factor guarantees for 65 major projects at or above the municipal level across the city, issued the "Jiangmen City Work Guidelines for Accelerating the Use of Provincial Indicators for Advanced Manufacturing Projects (Trial)," and supported the construction of key projects such as Meida New Materials and the Kaiping International Sanitary Ware Innovation Base. In terms of environmental impact assessment, it has actively and steadily implemented the pre-allocation and pre-distribution system of environmental factors, and 48 key projects including Xinhui Foster New Materials and Kaiping Tipai Sanitary Ware have completed environmental impact assessment procedures.
