On August 12, the pedestrian bridge at the intersection of Binkang Road and Jucai Road in Binjiang District, Hangzhou, opened for trial operation. The overall design of the bridge is inspired by Hangzhou silk; viewed from above, it resembles two interwoven ribbons, symbolizing exchange and cooperation among high-tech enterprises.

Once the bridge is in operation, pedestrians and vehicles will be separated along this section of road, effectively easing traffic congestion, ensuring safe passage for pedestrians, and improving vehicle throughput. In addition, the various passage modes adopted at the centralized entrance and exit points, together with the canopy design on top of the bridge, meet the needs of dense crowds crossing during peak periods under different weather conditions.
