"At present, the brick walls of all individual buildings in the project have basically been completed, and the decoration and finishing of the exterior facades is underway," said Wang Xiwen, project manager of Huzhou Jingkai Group.
With rolling heat waves and a blazing sun, the key engineering projects in the new district are going all out, constantly refreshing the "progress bar." Builders remain at the front line of the projects, racing against time and pressing ahead with progress, making an all-out sprint toward construction milestones to ensure that the momentum of project construction does not slacken, the drive does not diminish, and the intensity does not drop.
At the site of the Anmaite high-safety composite current collector project, workers are laying underground pipelines. One after another metal pipe more than 4 meters long, after being carried and cut, are closely joined together. Master Gao, who was carrying pipes, wiped the sweat from his face and said, "We get up at four or five every morning to prepare to start work, and while the sun has not yet come out we hurry to do as much as possible. As noon approaches we go back to rest, and then later in the afternoon we continue working."
It is reported that after completion, the project can form an annual production capacity of 700 million square meters of new high-safety composite aluminum foil and composite copper foil, and is a key project for strengthening and extending the new energy industry chain in the new district. "Project construction is nearing its end and is expected to be completed this month, one month ahead of the original schedule," said Tian Ye, engineering manager of Anmaite. To cope with the high temperatures, the company has opened the new office building area equipped with air conditioning for workers to cool off and rest.
Facing the "roasting" test of high temperatures, other projects under construction in the new district have also implemented a series of heatstroke prevention and cooling measures. At the site of the Huzhou Weilan Technology Co., Ltd. project with an annual output of 20GWh of solid-state lithium-ion batteries, located on the Kangshan ten-thousand-mu platform, staff distributed heatstroke prevention and cooling supplies such as Huoxiang Zhengqi liquid, mung bean soup, and salt soda to frontline construction workers. "We carry heatstroke prevention medicines with us, and many fellow workers also wear 'air-conditioned clothing' with small fans," said Tian Xinwang, a steel fixer. Since the high-temperature days began, the construction teams have implemented a "two-shift system," and on the basis of not stopping project progress, workers take turns resting. "At present, 5 of the 12 individual buildings in the production area have been topped out, and we are now pressing ahead with the construction of the main structures to ensure that the project advances steadily and in an orderly manner according to the time nodes," said Shao Jianhai, project manager of Huzhou Jingkai Group.
"At this stage, there are a total of 45 industrial projects under construction in the new district with investment of more than 300 million yuan. We will pay close attention to all projects under construction and urge project entities to take proper safety precautions," said a relevant person in charge of the new district. They stated that the focus will be on projects scheduled to start or be completed in the third quarter, strengthening project visits, deepening project services, and formulating individualized advancement lists to ensure that engineering project construction proceeds in an orderly manner.
