According to the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue rainstorm warning at 6:00 on August 8:

　　It is expected that from 8:00 on August 8 to 8:00 on August 9, parts of eastern Gansu, Ningxia, the Hetao region of Inner Mongolia, western and northern Shaanxi, western Shanxi, western Sichuan Basin, northern Henan and other places will experience heavy to torrential rain, among which parts of the Hetao region of Inner Mongolia and other places will experience torrential rain (100-130 mm). Some of the above areas will be accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (maximum hourly rainfall of 20-50 mm, with local areas exceeding 80 mm), and local areas will experience thunderstorms, gales and other severe convective weather.

　　1. Governments and relevant departments shall make preparations for rainstorm prevention in accordance with their duties;

　　2. Schools and kindergartens shall take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of students and young children;

　　3. Drivers shall pay attention to road waterlogging and traffic congestion to ensure safety;

　　4. Inspect the drainage systems of cities, farmland and fish ponds, and make preparations for waterlogging drainage.
