The reporter learned that the general construction contracting project for the Simazhuang Road Bridge and its connecting roads in Bengbu has a route (including bridges) with a total length of approximately 2,700 meters, mainly constructing the main bridge, approach bridges, and ground roads. Project budget: 931.4879055 million yuan (including 80 million yuan in provisional sums and 10 million yuan in provisional estimates). Planned construction period: 1,080 calendar days (36 months). The bridge runs along Simazhuang Road, starting on the south side at Zhihuai East Road in the Lingang Industrial Park, adjacent to Bengbu Shenzhou Machinery Co., Ltd., crossing the Huai River to the north, and ending at Huaishang Avenue in Huaishang District. Upon completion, the project will further improve the layout of river crossings and the urban skeleton road network structure in the eastern part of the city, create an eastern development axis, enhance cross-river traffic capacity, optimize the development and utilization of urban territorial space, and effectively promote Bengbu's advancement from "cross-river development" to "river-embracing development."
