In the first half of this year, the key projects of Nanning Communications Investment Group's Expressway Company faced the dual challenges of the flood season and extreme heat. While ensuring safety and quality, they seized favorable construction windows and strove to advance project construction. The builders worked with determination, tackled difficulties, and continued to generate a construction boom and achieve results, laying a solid foundation for ensuring the completion of all annual targets and tasks.
It is reported that the first phase of the Shanglin–Hengxian Highway Project (hereinafter referred to as the Shangheng Expressway Project) is an important transportation-network project in Guangxi's three-year campaign to shore up weaknesses in infrastructure through the "five networks" construction, and is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of this year. Since the beginning of this year, the Shangheng Expressway Project has reasonably reversed the construction schedule, scientifically organized construction, and efficiently fought the battle of cross-operation, achieving major milestone breakthroughs many times. The project's subgrade, culverts, bridges, and pavement cement-stabilized base have basically been completed. Among them, asphalt pavement has been completed at 67%, building construction at 93%, mechanical and electrical works at 96%, and traffic safety facilities at 90%. At present, the project is accelerating the construction of service-area building decoration, installation and commissioning of the four major mechanical and electrical systems, traffic safety signs and markings, and the asphalt surface course, going all out to sprint toward the goal of completion and opening to traffic by the end of the year. As of now, the Shangheng Expressway Project has completed an accumulated annual investment of 1.155 billion yuan, accounting for 77% of the annual investment target; the cumulative completed investment is 10.940 billion yuan, accounting for 91.63% of the total investment in the approved estimate.
Since the beginning of this year, in the face of difficulties such as traffic diversion and coordination of land acquisition and demolition, the Nanbin Highway Company, which is responsible for the construction of the G322/358 Nanning–Binyang–Litang Highway Project (hereinafter referred to as the Nanbin Highway Project), has tightened and compacted responsibilities, taken problems as the starting point, and led all participating personnel to steadily advance project construction, continuously refreshing the project's "progress bar." For the key control project of Phase II, the right-tube exit of the Longdao Village Tunnel has been excavated beyond 1,000 meters; the First Sub-division successfully completed the first section of subgrade bed handover inspection and the construction of the graded crushed stone cushion test section; for the key control project, the pile foundation construction for Pier No. 2 of the bridge crossing the Guilong Expressway has been completed, and the first 30-meter precast box girder has been poured.
As of now, the Nanbin Highway Project has completed an accumulated annual investment of 830.78 million yuan, accounting for 69.70% of the annual investment task. The project is currently carrying out subgrade and pavement, bridge and culvert, and tunnel construction. Among them, for Phase I of the project, the subgrade works have been completed at 84.57%, bridge and culvert works at 62.81%, and pavement works at 34.24%; for Phase II, the subgrade works have been completed at 36.96%, bridge and culvert works at 21.41%, and tunnel works at 51.17%.
It is reported that since the commencement orders were issued for the Nanning South Ring Road (Liujing–Datang Section) Highway and the Nanning South Ring Road (Wuxu Airport–Long'an Extension Section) Highway, the Nanning Second Ring Expressway Company has made overall arrangements for all participating parties to actively seize the construction period, grasp progress, strictly control quality, and ensure safety, comprehensively, orderly, and efficiently advancing all aspects of project construction.
At present, on the Nanning South Ring Road (Wuxu Airport–Long'an Extension Section) Highway, the **cap of the Shangzheng Youjiang Grand Bridge has been successfully poured, and the pile foundation pouring task for the main pier of the Shangzheng Youjiang Grand Bridge has been successfully completed. On the Nanning South Ring Road (Wuxu Airport–Long'an Extension Section) Highway, culvert works have been completed at 36.8%, subgrade works at 23.1%, and bridge works at 28.5%. On the Nanning South Ring Road (Liujing–Datang Section) Highway, culvert works have been completed at 6.6%, subgrade works at 7.5%, and bridge works at 7.5%.
