On August 2, the Phase II project of Jinan Rail Transit Line 3 successfully passed the project acceptance, marking that Phase II of Line 3 has entered the trial operation stage and that the countdown to its opening for operation has begun.

After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it will connect and provide transfers with major transportation hubs such as Jinan West Railway Station, Jinan Railway Station, Jinan East Railway Station, and Yaoqiang Airport, promoting efficient connections between high-speed rail and the airport. It is of great significance for accelerating the development and construction of the airport economic zone, radiating and driving surrounding traffic passenger flows, effectively alleviating urban traffic congestion, and facilitating citizens' travel to and from the airport.

For this acceptance, a project acceptance team was established, with five specialized acceptance subgroups under it: general, civil engineering, equipment, integrated commissioning and testing, and internal documentation. The acceptance team listened to reports on the construction of the Phase II project of Jinan Rail Transit Line 3, preparations for trial operation, and other matters; conducted on-site inspections of stations and section works; reviewed various approval documents and acceptance reports; and verified the rectification status of (sub)unit project acceptance.

At the same time, functional tests were conducted on electromechanical and system equipment, and the test results met the requirements. The acceptance team also conducted full exchanges with the Phase II construction participants of Line 3, including construction, design,施工, supervision, and consulting units, and ultimately formed the opinions of the specialized acceptance groups and the project acceptance opinion. The project acceptance team unanimously agreed that the Phase II project of Jinan Rail Transit Line 3 passed the project acceptance.
