Fuzhou, August 5 (Xinhua) — The Fujian Provincial Department of Commerce announced on the 5th the introduction of support policies in four areas—developing a global business layout, expanding the overseas contracting engineering market, stabilizing the development of foreign labor service cooperation, and building an overseas security guarantee system—to promote the high-quality development of "Silk Road investment."

　　In recent years, Fujian has fully leveraged its locational advantage as a core area of the Maritime Silk Road, actively built platforms for international exchange and cooperation, implemented various measures for facilitating foreign investment and cooperation reform, and coordinated the use of fiscal funds, policy-based insurance, and financial resources to support enterprises in seizing the opportunities of the Belt and Road Initiative and steadily and orderly "going global" to expand their overseas presence, achieving remarkable results.

　　In the area of developing a global business layout, Fujian encourages enterprises to participate in international competition and cooperation through outbound investment, optimize their global business layout, and enhance their comprehensive strength and brand influence; it encourages enterprises to acquire overseas companies with advanced technologies and well-known brands, and to invest in and build overseas economic and trade cooperation parks.

　　In terms of expanding the overseas contracting engineering market, Fujian encourages enterprises to actively participate in international market competition, undertake overseas engineering projects, and drive technology, standards, equipment, and management to "go global."

　　Fujian also supports the stable development of foreign labor service cooperation, encouraging foreign labor service cooperation enterprises to consolidate and expand traditional labor markets such as Hong Kong and Macao, actively expand into other countries (regions), and promote steady improvement in the quality of dispatched labor.
