Recently, the underground diaphragm wall at Wenjing Road Station of Civil Engineering Section 2 of Phase I of Line 23 was successfully completed.

Wenjing Road Station is a two-level underground island-type station. The station measures 262 meters by 20.54 meters. The main retaining structure adopts 1000 mm thick underground diaphragm walls with a depth of 43/47 meters, comprising a total of 104 wall panels.

Since the first diaphragm wall panel was lowered into the trench at Huaning Road Station last year, after 257 days and nights of intensive work, the final diaphragm wall panel at Wenjing Road Station has finally been successfully lowered into the trench. The project site overcame challenges including a confined site, pipeline relocation, and traffic diversion and rerouting, reasonably adjusted the construction plan, optimized resource allocation, raced against time to accelerate progress, and through unremitting efforts completed the construction of the retaining structure underground diaphragm walls with both quality and quantity assured. The completion of the underground diaphragm wall construction created conditions for the subsequent main structure construction and laid a solid foundation for rapidly advancing the project construction.

Next, the Fifth Branch of the Construction Group will continue to work hard with unity, make good preparations for the transition between construction phases, organize construction efficiently and rapidly, and arrange subsequent construction with the goal of "safety, efficiency, and quality," continuing to ensure the high-quality and stable progress of the Line 23 Section 2 project construction.
