On July 29, the shield machine for the right line of the Cangfeng Road Liucun Station–Jianshe South Street Station section of the Shijiazhuang Metro Line 4 project successfully passed the launch condition verification and achieved a smooth launch. At this point, the project has officially entered the dual-line tunneling stage.

The Fuxing No. 7 shield machine is mainly responsible for the right-line construction task of the Cangfeng Road Liucun Station–Jianshe South Street Station section. The section has a total length of 1,407 m, starting from the large-mileage end of Cangfeng Road Liucun Station, running east to west along Cangfeng Road, and then connecting to the small-mileage end of Jianshe South Street Station.

Facing the severe situation of a tight schedule and heavy tasks, in order to ensure the smooth launch of the right-line shield, the project made every effort to overcome difficulties such as complicated on-site procedures, planned ahead, and deployed meticulously. On the one hand, it drew on the successful experience of the left-line shield launch, sorted out a pre-launch task list, and completed items on a daily basis. On the other hand, it strictly implemented 24-hour leadership duty and on-site grid-based management to ensure that the shield launch work was carried out safely and under control.

At the same time, it advanced the intelligent and standardized construction of project management. By establishing a data acquisition system plus a remote video monitoring system, it conducted dynamic management of shield construction and equipment and controlled the construction parameters of the shield section in real time. Relying on a series of measures, it not only created favorable conditions for the smooth launch of the shield but also built a solid safety defense line for subsequent efficient tunneling, laying a solid organizational and technical foundation for the smooth breakthrough of the shield.
