To accelerate the advancement of new urbanization and further improve the arterial road network system of the Dazhou area in Daling Subdistrict, Huidong County, construction of the Huidong County Dazhou Area New Urbanization Infrastructure Construction Project (Yanjiang North Road) broke ground on July 31. Liu Weibin, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Huidong County People's Congress; Luo Weichun, Vice Chairman of the Huidong County CPPCC; and relevant officials from Daling Subdistrict and Huidong County directly affiliated departments attended the event.
　　The Huidong County Dazhou Area New Urbanization Infrastructure Construction Project (Yanjiang North Road) is organized and implemented by the Huidong County Agent Construction Project Management Bureau. The project is located on the north bank of the Xizhijiang River, starting at a grade-separated interchange with Huidong Avenue and ending at a grade-separated interchange with Huancheng West Road. It is built to urban arterial road standards, with a total length of 5.18 km, four lanes in both directions, a width of 30 meters, and a design speed of 50 km/h. Construction content includes road works, bridges, culvert works, traffic engineering, water supply and drainage works, lighting works, power and communication works, and landscaping works. The total project investment is approximately 796 million yuan, with completion scheduled for July 2027.
　　Upon completion, the project will further improve the road network of the area, enhance urban quality, and be of great significance for advancing industrial development in the region and the coordinated socioeconomic development of the surrounding areas. It will also inject new vitality into Huidong County's effort to create the Xizhijiang "one river, two banks" riverside landscape belt, while effectively strengthening the traffic connection between the Daling area and the Dazhou area and further improving the regional road network.
