At noon on July 18, in the section between Dangtu East and Dangtu South on the Nanjing-Ma'anshan Intercity Railway, a thousand-ton bridge erection machine steadily lowered the last 442-ton precast box girder onto the bridge pier. With this, all 396 precast box girders on the entire Nanjing-Ma'anshan Intercity Railway (Ma'anshan section) have been erected.

According to reports, on February 9, 2023, the erection of the ** precast box girders of the Nanjing-Ma'anshan Intercity Railway (Ma'anshan section) was launched.

As a key milestone project, the completion of the precast girder erection task marks that the construction of the Nanjing-Ma'anshan Intercity Railway (Ma'anshan section) has entered a new stage, laying a solid foundation for subsequent track construction.

The Nanjing-Ma'anshan Intercity Railway has a total length of 54.23 kilometers, of which the Ma'anshan section, about 27.72 kilometers long, is led in investment and construction by China Railway (Shanghai) Investment Group. As a key project of the commuter transportation network of the Nanjing-Ma'anshan metropolitan area, this project is a landmark project for achieving the integrated development of Nanjing and Ma'anshan, and is of great significance for driving the social and economic development of areas along the line and promoting Ma'anshan's comprehensive alignment with the Yangtze River Delta and deep integration into the Nanjing metropolitan area.
