The heads of 23 local building materials enterprises and 20 real estate enterprises sat at the same table, discussing their respective needs face to face, and many enterprises reached cooperation intentions on site.

　　According to Zhu Shukai, deputy director of the Xining Economic Commission, the reason for choosing building materials enterprises and real estate enterprises for the first matchmaking meeting is that with Xining's vigorous development and construction in recent years, a broader development platform has been provided for the building materials industry. However, among the many building materials enterprises, local enterprises are affected by various reasons and their competitiveness is not very strong; many newly established enterprises are even still in the start-up stage. Therefore, in order to better support local building materials enterprises, a group of 23 enterprises with good reputation, high product quality, and an urgent need to develop the market was specially selected from local building materials enterprises to conduct face-to-face matchmaking with 20 real estate enterprises currently responsible for developing and constructing multiple real estate projects. At the matchmaking meeting, enterprises producing cement, aluminum alloy doors and windows, aerated blocks, new building materials, energy-saving building materials, insulating glass, waterproof materials, and other products each presented their offerings and actively engaged in matchmaking and negotiations with real estate enterprises. "Usually we have to go door to door ourselves to promote our products, and we really need a supply-and-demand platform like this. Now that a government department is responsible for organizing it, such promotion is more professional and targeted, and it is a good opportunity for our enterprise's development," said the deputy general manager of a building materials enterprise producing insulation materials in the provincial capital.

At the first matchmaking meeting, after the supply and demand sides gained a deeper understanding of each other, they exchanged contact information on site and reached preliminary cooperation intentions, awaiting better cooperation in the future. In addition, the Xining Economic Commission will also promote this type of matchmaking meeting in industries such as agricultural and sideline products and traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicines, so that local enterprises can consolidate the local market and provide more employment opportunities.
