At the construction site of the Peking University School of Molecular Engineering pilot test base project not far from this site, multiple factory buildings have sprung up. The project's initial infrastructure investment alone reached 300 million yuan, with a total construction area of 43,500 square meters. After the project started in October 2023, with the efforts of relevant Yexian departments, 240 million yuan in special project bond funds were put in place in a timely manner. At present, the first-phase investment has largely been implemented, and production can begin in the second half of the year.
Relying on the two provincial-level development zones in its territory, the Pingdingshan Nylon New Material Development Zone and the Yexian Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone, Yexian has formulated a development strategy of strengthening and establishing the county through industry. While precisely implementing relevant national, provincial, and municipal investment promotion policies, it provides "one-stop" and "nanny-style" services for project implementation and vigorously advances project construction. Thirty-five key projects under promotion in Yexian have been included in Pingdingshan City's 2024 ** batch of key engineering projects, with a total investment of 51.66 billion yuan, including an annual planned investment of 7.78 billion yuan.
Yexian holds a key project construction promotion meeting once a week, selecting key projects for discussion, tracking project construction progress, helping resolve project funding difficulties, and promptly implementing policies such as financial support provided by the local government.
As of the end of June, eight projects had been completed and put into operation, including the annual production of 150,000 tons of high-quality hexamethylenediamine, the Nylon City pilot test base, and the annual production of 150 million meters of high-grade special nylon fabric and supporting processed yarn project (Phase II). The heating center of the Yexian Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone, the polyurethane industrial park, and other projects have completed preliminary work. The Shenma Avenue south extension and supporting comprehensive utility tunnel project is in the process of handling preliminary procedures. The main cooperation for the 4 billion yuan 400,000-ton PC supporting cogeneration project has been agreed upon and can be signed soon... In the first half of 2024, the 35 provincial and municipal key construction projects in Yexian completed an investment of 4.68 billion yuan, fulfilling 60.1% of the annual investment plan, exceeding the scheduled progress by 10.1 percentage points.
