On the occasion of the countdown to the opening of China International Mining Service Industry Full-Chain Expo—2024 Changsha International Smart Mining Equipment and International Mining Service Industry Expo (CIMESE2024), the 2024 Anhui-Hunan Engineering Machinery Industry Cooperation Matchmaking Conference and the CIMESE2024 Anhui Promotion Conference kicked off in Hefei on July 24. Li Qi, Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation, stated at the conference: The machinery industry, as the cornerstone of economic development, has always supported the progress and innovation of world industry. In 2023, China's machinery industry achieved cumulative operating revenue of 29.8 trillion yuan, total profits of nearly 1.8 trillion yuan, and achieved growth in multiple aspects. The meticulously organized and carefully cultivated CIMESE2024 will open on September 19-21, 2024 at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. Using the exhibition as a medium and the conference as a bridge, we sincerely invite enterprises and individuals from Anhui Province's engineering machinery industry and mining machinery sectors to join this industry grand event.

In recent years, the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology have adopted a 'you come, I go' approach and conducted multiple exchange activities, all achieving excellent results." Cui Yiqun, Second-Level Inspector of the Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, introduced at the conference that the equipment manufacturing industry, especially high-end equipment, is a strategic and pillar industry of the national economy. Anhui Province places greater emphasis on the equipment manufacturing industry, particularly high-end equipment, and has listed equipment manufacturing as one of ten key industries for development. The Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Hunan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology held this engineering machinery industry cooperation matchmaking conference, which is very necessary and meaningful. It is hoped that more such matchmaking and exchange activities will be carried out in the future to promote mutual learning, leverage complementary advantages, and jointly advance the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industries in both provinces.

The mining equipment industry is an important support for the industrial development of Hunan Province and even the whole country, playing an irreplaceable role in promoting high-quality economic development and safeguarding national energy security. Regarding the basic information of this expo, Tan Jiannong, President of the Hunan Provincial Mining Association, enthusiastically introduced at the conference that CIMESE2024 is scheduled to open on September 19-21, 2024 at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Smart Mining, Serving the World," the expo will concurrently hold 20 international professional forums and 100 inter-enterprise business summits. The concurrent exhibition area is 27,000 square meters, featuring 8 major exhibition zones: geological (mining) exploration technology and equipment, mineral processing technology and equipment, mining technology and equipment, smelting and processing, mining intelligent system solutions, mine ecological restoration and green development, smart mine construction and application scenarios, and mining trade and investment/financing. More than 400 Chinese and foreign exhibitors are expected to participate, with on-site professional visitors exceeding 50,000.

Chang Xinyu, Deputy Secretary-General of the Hunan Provincial Mining Association, presented a detailed introduction on behalf of the CIMESE Organizing Committee regarding the exhibition's value, scale, and highlights. He stated: "This expo will invite government officials from 30 countries and regions including Africa, Latin America, and RCEP countries. Domestic government authorities from 30 provinces and cities, 40 provincial-level mining associations, and large central-level mining production enterprises will participate in industrial matchmaking cooperation and investment promotion activities. In addition, 10 academicians, 200 experts and scholars, 20 research institutes and universities, and domestic and international research institutions will gather together. This expo is not only a platform for technical exchange but also an important occasion for promoting domestic and international mining cooperation. On-site signing and transaction value at the expo is expected to exceed 60 billion yuan."

He stated: "The Yangtze River Economic Belt Mining Development Alliance Centralized Procurement Platform Center" will coordinate the release of procurement lists and plans for production-level services for 2024-2025 from nearly 2,500 member units of 11 provincial mining associations (federations), including: the overall procurement list and amount for various mechanical equipment by mining production and development enterprises for 2024-2025 (approximately 25 billion yuan); the procurement list and amount for mining enterprise construction projects for 2024-2025 (approximately 5 billion yuan); the procurement demand list and amount for various production-related service supplies by mining enterprises for 2024-2025 (approximately 1 billion yuan); the demand list and amount for various intelligent quality-improvement system solutions by mining enterprises for 2024-2025 (approximately 4 billion yuan); and the investment and financing demand list and amount for mining enterprises for 2024-2025 (approximately 50 billion yuan). At the same time, the Centralized Procurement Platform Center will sign annual strategic procurement agreements with exhibitors meeting centralized procurement standards during the expo, which will help numerous industry enterprises obtain orders and expand markets.
