Committed to the three-year goal of a "breakthrough rise in manufacturing," Dazhu County in Dazhou City recently advanced the construction of 15 manufacturing projects in a concentrated push, with a total agreed investment of 10.8 billion yuan.
　　All 15 projects fall within Dazhu County's "2+3" key industries, including 6 electronic information projects, 5 intelligent manufacturing projects, 3 bamboo-hemp new material projects, and 1 light textile, footwear and apparel project. It is estimated that once all these projects reach full production, they will generate an annual output value of 11.6 billion yuan, annual tax revenue of 600 million yuan, and employment for about 6,700 people, delivering an obvious driving effect on economic development.
　　Take the Dazhu County new-energy power battery pole project invested and built by Shenzhen Xinhongli Precision Industry Co., Ltd. as an example: after production begins, its annual output value is expected to exceed 1 billion yuan, providing more than 1,000 jobs, and it is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of the year.
　　Since the beginning of this year, Dazhu County has focused on the "2+3" key industries to vigorously attract investment, establishing 5 stationed investment promotion working groups in key regions such as the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Pearl River Delta, and Chengdu-Chongqing.
　　Concentrating on "attracting large and strong enterprises" and on ensuring that attracted projects take root, gain momentum, improve quality and increase efficiency, in the first half of the year Dazhu County newly signed 62 projects, including Anhui Jinzhu, the second phase of Heming Honghua, and the second phase of Xinhongli, with an agreed investment amount of 20.5 billion yuan; it pushed 58 projects into construction, including Yueqing Fenfa Electromechanical, Baolin Intelligent Terminal, and Huixin Optoelectronics Intelligent Display Module; the county newly cultivated 7 industrial enterprises above designated size and newly registered 1 foreign-funded company.
　　To ensure efficient project advancement, Dazhu has strengthened mechanisms such as leadership responsibility for major projects and "project butler" services, using the "leading goose effect" to drive cluster development and promote the improvement of industrial chains and the growth of industries. This year, the number of enterprises settled in the Dazhu Economic Development Zone has grown significantly, reaching 427, among which the number of industrial enterprises above designated size has increased to 156.
　　Sichuan Benshengfa Precision Electronics Co., Ltd., which settled in at the beginning of this year, is a professional sheet metal fabrication company integrating design, processing and production, spray coating and coloring, silk-screen graphics and text, and assembly. By mid-July, the company's output value had climbed to nearly 6 million yuan. In June alone, its output value broke through the 3 million yuan mark, and its production lines reached full capacity. "Our total order volume has crossed the 10 million yuan mark," said Zhou Qingtian, the company's executive deputy general manager, full of confidence. "Our target output value for the year is to sprint toward 30 million yuan."
