Yesterday, a reporter learned from the No. 5 Bid Project Department of Nanchang Metro Line 1 of China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group that on the afternoon of October 7, the concrete pouring of the last bottom slab of the deep foundation pit at Bayi Square Station of Nanchang Metro Line 1 was successfully completed, marking a breakthrough progress in the construction of the main structure of the station, a key and difficult control project within the bid section.

Bayi Square Station, with a total length of 166 meters, is an underground three-level station located at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Bayi Avenue in the city. It is an interchange station between Nanchang Metro Line 1 and Line 2. The Line 1 station crosses Bayi Avenue and runs west to east, with a construction period of 30 months. The site is located in the center of the city's old urban area, with heavy traffic and large pedestrian flow, making construction difficult. Since the completion of the first foundation pit bottom slab on April 3 this year, the project department has overcome unfavorable factors such as funding difficulties, a cramped site, and the difficulty of traffic diversion, actively carried out labor competitions, and organized all available labor to expedite construction. Entering September, the project department launched a major work campaign within the bid section to "strive for 120 days and fully complete the annual target tasks," deploying all mechanical equipment and labor, and completing the concrete pouring of the last bottom slab on the 7th of this month.
