　　These past two days, at the construction site of the new project of the Alar Hospital of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital Affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine, more than 200 workers have been carrying out exterior wall renovation and interior decoration construction on each individual building. Currently, more than 70% of the total project volume has been completed, with cumulative investment of various types reaching 580 million yuan.
　　Shi Yiwen, the project's chief supervision engineer, said: "We have now completed 50% of the exterior walls and 70% of the indoor installation works. Next, there are still outdoor works and pipeline construction."
　　As a key medical and livelihood project built by the Corps and the First Division Alar City—the new project of the Alar Hospital of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital Affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine—has a total investment of 750 million yuan, including 300 million yuan of central budget investment sought and 450 million yuan of self-raised funds. It covers a total land area of nearly 130,000 square meters and a total construction area of 123,000 square meters. The project construction includes the new medical comprehensive building, administrative and logistics center, and other construction works as well as ancillary supporting projects. After the project is delivered and put into use, the bed capacity will reach 650, forming a comprehensive national regional medical center integrating general medical care, specialized medical care, rehabilitation and health care, teaching and research, and medical exchange and cooperation, with emphasis on the Minimally Invasive Technology Diagnosis and Treatment Center and the Respiratory Critical Care Diagnosis and Treatment Center.
　　Zhang Hua, the project leader, said: "Our agent construction company, including the construction unit and the hospital, have all set up special task forces to verify the progress plan every day and ensure the steady progress of project construction. The entire project is expected to be completed around September 20."
　　The medical environment is being improved better and better, and the urban environment must also be made more and more beautiful. As a key urban ecological project built by the First Division Alar City, the Alar City Cedar River Ecological Governance Project has completed river channel excavation and riverbed acceptance, as well as micro-topography earthwork leveling on the north and south banks. It is currently carrying out riverbed anti-seepage construction, and the river channel is expected to achieve water flow in early August.
　　Tong Xindong, project manager of Section II of the Cedar River Ecological Governance Project, said: "Before August 1, we must complete all riverbed bottom geotextile laying, earthwork backfilling, fine leveling of earthwork on the north and south banks, fine leveling of micro-topography, and construction of riverbank retaining walls, so as to reach the state of water flow and use."
　　It is understood that the Cedar River Ecological Governance Project of the First Division Alar City is located north of Kungang Avenue, with a total investment of 100 million yuan and an area of 23.3 hectares. It is divided into three sections for construction, mainly building a 1,430-meter ecological governance river channel, 39,400 square meters of plaza and road paving, 143,700 square meters of green space, irrigation and ancillary supporting projects. The project as a whole is expected to be delivered and put into use in September. After completion, the project will make full use of the geographical advantage of the Cedar River running through the city, integrate ecological, cultural, tourism and other elements, and provide diverse functions such as ecological recreation, leisure and entertainment, and sports, becoming a new landmark of the city.

During project construction, we strictly perform the duties of the agent construction unit, conduct regular safety and quality inspections on the project site, and ensure that the project can be constructed in accordance with the construction drawings and design requirements. After the project is completed, it will bring citizens a good place for leisure."
