Recently, walking into the construction site of the Renshou County No. 1 Water Plant Renovation and Supporting Facilities Upgrade Project located in Feiquan Community, Wenlin Subdistrict, Renshou County, engineering vehicles shuttle back and forth, workers perform their respective duties, and the site presents a bustling scene of construction.
"At present, we have completed the main construction of support piles, crown beams, box culverts, etc., and are carrying out earthwork excavation for the foundation pits of the drainage and sludge discharge tank, clean water tank, backwash pump room, and pressurized dissolved air water pump room." The project manager told the reporter that since construction started in March, the project has actively seized favorable weather and reasonably allocated personnel and machinery, and is expected to be completed and put into operation in February 2025.
It is reported that the livelihood-benefiting No. 1 Water Plant Renovation and Supporting Facilities Upgrade Project covers an area of 27.29 mu, mainly constructing one distribution well, 4,000 meters of raw water transmission pipes, a water production line and supporting dosing, chlorination, and water supply equipment, pump rooms, a production wastewater treatment system, and ancillary facilities. After the project is completed, the water production capacity of Renshou County No. 1 Water Plant will be increased to 60,000 tons per day, thoroughly solving the problem of insufficient water supply in the old urban area and townships such as Manjing, Zhongxiang, and Zhangjia, and realizing the transformation from "drinking water safety" to "water supply security."
Since the beginning of this year, major livelihood projects in Renshou County have seized favorable opportunities, carried out scientific construction, and advanced construction steadily, vigorously, and in an orderly manner, with remarkable results.
In recent days, at the construction site of the Renshou County Chengnan Wetland Park project, the builders have also divided labor and cooperated closely, strictly abiding by safety operation procedures to ensure that every construction link is high-quality and efficient, accelerating the progress of the project.
Renshou County Chengnan Wetland Park is located in Xinmin Community and Zhongba Community, Puning Subdistrict, Renshou County. It aims to create a landscape urban wetland park integrating a bamboo culture theme park, a new city vitality park, and a commercial water street, providing residents with places for leisure and entertainment.
"At present, 87% of the total excavation work and 85% of the total filling work have been completed. The main structures of the fire safety science popularization base, service stations, gymnasium, and exhibition hall have been completed, and greening and ancillary works are now under construction." The project manager introduced that the entire park forms a structure of two parks and one street. The park on the east side creates a vitality space with a Tang Dynasty style theme, the central water street focuses on modern new Chinese style, and the park on the west side is built with a modern technological wisdom theme. After completion, it will provide citizens with more abundant living and communication spaces for life and work.
Focusing on the need to expand public leisure space, the Gaosun Community Neighborhood Service Center project in Puning Subdistrict, Renshou County, is under vigorous construction.
The project has a construction area of about 7,200 square meters and includes multi-functional areas such as a fire station and a basketball hall. It is committed to creating a community living space integrating commerce, culture, leisure, social interaction, and other functions.
