It is understood that Kuching is the largest city in Sarawak State, Malaysia. In recent years, numerous infrastructure projects have broken ground in the state, driving growing demand for construction machinery, building machinery, and mining equipment.

Zhao Peng, Deputy General Manager of Zoomlion's Malaysian subsidiary, introduced: "Due to Malaysia's unique geography, the East Malaysia region faces high transshipment costs because of limited logistics resources. The Kuching outlet, covering more than 5,000 square meters, will greatly reduce our logistics costs, promote product localization, deepen market share, and enhance service support capabilities."

The opening also received an enthusiastic response from local customers. "In March last year, we came into contact with Zoomlion at an event in Johor. I eagerly looked forward to seeing your brand and products here (in Kuching) as well, and in just one year I have witnessed the opening of your outlet. I am very happy!" said Andy, a representative from INTERCARGO, excitedly.

In recent years, Zoomlion's Malaysian subsidiary has deepened implementation of the company's overseas strategy of "end-to-end, digital, localized," continuously pushing outlet construction from regional centers down to key cities.

"A year ago, Zoomlion's Malaysian subsidiary opened in Kuala Lumpur. Since then, we have successively set up outlets in Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, and Bintulu in Sarawak. The Kuching outlet opening this time can not only cover the Sarawak region of East Malaysia, but also enable us to provide services to the Borneo island including Brunei, introduce our products to a broader audience, and open up new opportunities to achieve win-win results together with local customers," said Zhao Peng.
