Recently, the power transmission for the shield tunneling main power introduction (Taitie Yi Line) at Guangzhou Road Station on the Qingdao Metro Line 8 Branch Line was successfully completed, marking a comprehensive victory for the shield tunneling main power introduction project of the Qingdao Metro Line 8 Branch Line, with power transmission now achieved for all 15 shield tunneling machines across the entire line.

It is understood that this project successfully draws lines from four 110kV substations, involving one 35kV dedicated line and nine 10kV dedicated lines, covering an extensive network with 22 km of civil engineering channels and a total cable length of 37 km. It also includes one 35kV mobile substation, ten sets of 10kV ring main units, and ten sets of 800kVA box-type substations, providing stable power support for the entire shield tunneling project.

It is worth noting that the main power introduction route is complex and variable, requiring crossing and running parallel to important pipelines such as high-pressure gas, large-diameter drainage pipelines, trunk optical cables, and national defense optical cables, and repeatedly crossing the Yunxi River channel, making construction difficulty unprecedented. To ensure the project's completion on schedule, the project department established a dedicated task force. With a high sense of responsibility and mission, the project team overcame multiple challenges including complex geology, intertwined pipelines, and variable climate, and conducted in-depth research on key and difficult on-site issues. Meanwhile, the project team actively communicated and coordinated with government departments such as the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, Transportation Bureau, Power Bureau, and traffic management units to form synergies and jointly advance project quality, progress, and safety control.

During the main power introduction construction, the project team divided work reasonably and collaborated closely, strictly operating in accordance with the power transmission implementation plan. They repeatedly tested and commissioned various equipment and cables to ensure all indicators met qualified standards and that energized equipment operated stably and reliably, thereby achieving one-time success for each power transmission.
