Recently, good news has been pouring in from the construction of the west extension of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 13, Phase I of Line 21, and Line 23. The west extension of Line 13's Yunle Road Station, Phase I of Line 21's Jinqiao Station and Longdong Avenue Station have started diaphragm wall construction, the main structure of Line 23's Jinglian Road Station has been topped out, and the **phase traffic diversion at Line 23's Dongchuan Road Station and Wenjing Road Station has been successfully completed.
As the diaphragm wall reinforcement cages were slowly lifted and lowered, and concrete pouring began, diaphragm wall construction started at the west extension of Line 13's Yunle Road Station, Phase I of Line 21's Jinqiao Station and Longdong Avenue Station, marking that the three stations have officially entered the construction stage of the main retaining structure.
The west extension of Line 13's Yunle Road Station, Phase I of Line 21's Jinqiao Station and Longdong Avenue Station are located in Minhang District and Pudong New Area respectively, where the surrounding environment is complex and construction challenges are numerous.

Yunle Road Station of the civil engineering works of Section 103 of the west extension of Line 13 is an underground two-story island-type station with a scale of 200.7 m × 18 m (clear internal dimensions) and a maximum excavation depth of 18.97 m. It has a total of 4 main entrances and exits and 2 groups of ventilation shafts, among which Entrance/Exit 3 and Entrance/Exit 4 will be connected to the main structure by pipe jacking.

Jinqiao Station of Phase I of Line 21, located on the northwest side of the intersection of Jingang Road and Jinhu Road in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, is also an underground two-story island-type station. The main structure of the station measures 218 m × 27.4 m, and the foundation pit depth is 18.35 m. The 11 diaphragm wall panels of the north end shaft of Jinqiao Station implemented this time are located below the projection plane of a 110 kV overhead high-voltage line, with an effective construction clearance of only 9.5 m, while the actual diaphragm wall reinforcement cages are 40 m long, greatly increasing the construction difficulty. To this end, the Fourth Branch of the Construction Group organized all participating units to carefully plan and adopt a scheme of hoisting the reinforcement cages in sections under limited clearance for diaphragm wall construction beneath the high-voltage line. Low-clearance trenching construction was adopted, the reinforcement cages were divided into 9 sections, and a 120-ton knuckle-boom crane was used to hoist the reinforcement cages under ultra-low clearance, successfully completing this ultra-low-clearance diaphragm wall construction task and laying the foundation for the subsequent construction of the main structure.

Longdong Avenue Station has a total length of 274.8 m, and its auxiliary structures include 3 entrances and exits and 2 groups of ventilation shafts. To reduce the impact of construction on the surrounding environment, Longdong Avenue Station adopted various noise-reduction measures such as mobile soundproof panels and prefabricated soundproof enclosures to reduce construction noise. Since the first diaphragm wall panel of the Zone C foundation pit began trenching on December 19 last year, the construction of 66 diaphragm wall panels of the Zone C foundation pit was successfully completed over 4 months.

Jinglian Road Station, Dongchuan Road Station and Wenjing Road Station are all part of the Phase I construction project of Shanghai Rail Transit Line 23. Entering the construction site, the subway builders were full of fighting spirit and worked closely together, completing the topping out of the main structure and the **phase traffic diversion respectively.

Jinglian Road Station is located on the northwest side of the intersection of Longwu Road and Jinglian Road in Huajing Town, Xuhui District, and is arranged in a north-south direction. The station is an underground two-story island-type station with a scale of 276 m × 19.54 m. The completion of the structural topping out of Jinglian Road Station is an important milestone in civil engineering construction, providing solid support for subsequent shield tunneling construction and creating favorable conditions for the overall construction goals of Line 23.

Section 4 of the civil engineering works of Line 23 successfully completed the **phase traffic diversion at Dongchuan Road, creating favorable conditions for the subsequent civil engineering construction of Dongchuan Road Station. This marks that Dongchuan Road Station is about to enter the substantive construction stage. Dongchuan Road Station starts from Jinping Road Station in the west and ends at Hujin Expressway Station in the east, with a total length of 170 m, and along the road there are multiple key traffic points such as subway entrances and exits and intersections.

At the same time, Wenjing Road Station of Line 23 also completed traffic diversion work, creating conditions for the next stage of construction. Wenjing Road Station is located on the northwest side of the intersection of Dongchuan Road and Wenjing Road. It is an underground two-story station, 262 m long and 19.54 m wide, with 3 entrances and exits and 2 groups of ventilation shafts. To ensure traffic safety, the construction party adopted a method of diagonally crossing through a newly built road in the middle of the station, closing the two-lane eastbound-to-westbound section on the north side of Dongchuan Road and diverting traffic to a newly built lane between Wenjing Road Station and Ziteng Hotel.

During the traffic diversion process, the Fifth Branch of the Construction Group, together with relevant units, repeatedly improved and optimized the traffic arrangements at key travel points, and consulted with the traffic police department many times to continuously optimize the design of the traffic-maintenance roads according to the needs during morning and evening peak hours. Through the concerted efforts of all parties, multiple tasks such as traffic volume calculation, route relocation, and relocation of bus stops and municipal signs were accomplished, creating favorable conditions for subsequent construction.
