To promote the recycling of construction waste in engineering projects, the Guangzhou Municipal Construction Commission and the Municipal Urban Management Commission have recently issued a tender for the franchised operation of recycled building materials made from construction waste in Guangzhou, seeking to publicly select franchise operators nationwide.

　　Yesterday, the Municipal Construction Commission and the Municipal Urban Management Commission jointly issued the "Tender Announcement for the Franchised Operation Project of Recycled Building Materials from Construction Waste in Guangzhou," planning to select 1 to 5 franchised construction waste recycling enterprises with legally compliant land in eligible areas of Guangzhou to engage in the production and sale of recycled building materials made from construction waste. Enterprises that obtain the franchise rights may apply for the "Guangzhou Construction Waste Disposal Permit" in accordance with relevant regulations and enjoy policies such as financial subsidies and tax incentives in accordance with the law; their recycled building material products will be promoted for use in government-invested projects and other projects.

　　The franchise term for enterprises obtaining franchise rights is 10 years. Applicants are required to have construction waste processing equipment and process technology, with a production line designed to utilize more than 500,000 tons of construction waste per year and an actual processing volume of no less than 80% of the design capacity. The production line must achieve a construction waste processing utilization rate of over 90%.
