The main structure construction is underway at Shangmaocheng North Station of the Phase I Project of Rail Transit Line 24.

　　The Phase I Project of Rail Transit Line 24 has 11 stations in total, including 10 self-built stations and 1 agent-built station (Chongqing East Station). Among the self-built stations, 1 open-cut station is undergoing main structure construction, 5 open-cut stations that have been capped are undergoing ancillary structure construction, and 4 mined stations are undergoing main structure excavation, support and lining construction.

　　At present, all 9 shield tunneling machines along the line have been launched. Among the 7 shield tunneling sections, the section from Waziba Station to Chafu Road Station and the section from Yinglong Station to Shangmaocheng North Station have been holed through on both lines.

　　The Phase I Project of Rail Transit Line 24 starts at Lujiaobei Station in Banan District and ends at Guangyangwan Station in Nan'an District, with a total length of 18.9 kilometers. In the future, this line will provide transfers with the eastern extension of Rail Transit Line 6, Line 8 and Line 27 respectively, becoming an important component of Chongqing's rail transit network. As Chongqing's first fully automated rail transit line, Rail Transit Line 24 will adopt a cloud-based IoT integration platform for construction and management. Its completion will further enhance the north-south transport capacity of rail transit, expand the辐射 range of Chongqing East Station, and be of great significance for supporting the development of the Guangyang Island area and meeting the development needs of the eastern trough valley.
