　　Closely centering on green, low-carbon and high-quality development, and driven by the "Project Breakthrough Year" campaign, Rizhao is consolidating the momentum of economic recovery and improvement, pooling efforts to advance key initiatives such as the industrial doubling plan, port-industry-city integration, expansion and quality upgrading of the service sector, enhancement of scientific and technological innovation capacity, and breakthroughs in county-level economies. By finding its position and cultivating its distinctive strengths within the province's economic landscape, Rizhao's chapter on key project construction is already in full swing.

　　From the Rizhao Port transformation and upgrading project to the Phase II undertaking, upgrading and renovation project of the Rizhao Advanced Steel Manufacturing Base; from Phase I of the Asia Symbol pulp and paper chain-extension project to the Rizhao Marine Biological Products Production, R&D and Modern Cold-Chain Logistics project—a series of large projects with substantial investment volumes, strong endogenous momentum and ample development potential have set off a surge of vigorous efforts to pursue major projects and pursue major projects vigorously.

　　The Phase III supporting tank farm project of the 300,000-ton crude oil terminal in the Lanshan Port Area of Rizhao Port, the smart logistics warehousing project of Rizhao Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the Dongjiakou–Wari (Yanshi) Railway Connecting Line project (Rizhao section), the Shandong Blue Industry Research Institute project... the placement and layout of these major projects are driving the grand undertaking of port-industry-city integration development deeper, more meticulously and more solidly.

　　Building on the signing and settlement of the Zhongtian unmanned helicopter project and the Aladdin drone project in Donggang District, in 2024 the portable tethered persistent unmanned aerial vehicle R&D and production base project will also settle in Rizhao, opening a new chapter in the development of Rizhao's low-altitude economy industry.

　　With a forward-looking layout of future industries and by seizing the competitive high ground and the initiative for development, future energy projects such as the Guoneng Zhongdian liquid sunlight green methanol project and the Xiamen Hi-Chain energy storage project; future health projects such as the human milk oligosaccharide series synthetic biological products production base project and the Shenzhen Kangti biopharmaceutical project; and future manufacturing projects such as the Kefei smart wearable device R&D and production project and Phase I of the Zhongchuang Liantou electronics industrial park project are being deployed in echelon—the key to forging first-mover advantages and leading future development.

　　In Donggang, there is the Aotou Modern Fishery Seed Industry Base project; in Lanshan, there is the automotive fastener R&D and manufacturing project of Leiying Precision Technology Co., Ltd.; in the Economic Development Zone, there is the CSSC Jinma Rizhao Green Energy Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Base project; in the High-tech Zone, there is the multifunctional film and energy storage supporting project of Rizhao Guna Material Technology Co., Ltd.... As the pace of development accelerates, new urbanization is being advanced in depth and comprehensive rural revitalization is being solidly promoted, further enhancing the overall strength of each district and county.

　　Particularly noteworthy is that the planning and implementation of projects such as the Rizhao Comprehensive Passenger Transport Station and supporting works, the Rizhao Guoyi Tan Hospital project, and the Xueyuan Road area urban renewal project have placed the improvement of people's well-being in an important position.
