The Chongqing–Yibin section of the Chongqing–Kunming High-Speed Railway is expected to open to traffic within the year. Construction is currently being accelerated on the project's Xinqiaocun Tunnel and No. 1 Xinpijianggou Tunnel.

　　Construction is being accelerated on No. 1 Xinpijianggou Tunnel on the Chongqing–Yibin section of the Chongqing–Kunming High-Speed Railway. According to reports, to ensure the line opens on schedule, the project department had nearly 200 construction workers continuing work through the Spring Festival holiday, carrying out secondary lining, drainage ditch cable troughs, pipe installation, pilot tunnel excavation and support, leveling course, and other works, going all out to meet the milestone targets.

　　At the same time, to ensure that various safety risks remain stable and controllable, the project team pressed responsibilities down through every level, conducted routine daily patrol inspections, strictly implemented the management specifications for temporary construction power supply, and assigned dedicated personnel to carry out daily management and maintenance of machinery and equipment, ensuring that inspections are documented and recorded, so that safety control is rigorously implemented and project construction advances steadily.

　　Xinqiaocun Tunnel and No. 1 Xinpijianggou Tunnel are adjacent to the downbound connecting line of the Chengdu–Chongqing Passenger Dedicated Line, with a minimum line spacing of 16 meters. At the same time, during the Spring Festival holiday, surrounding residents returned home to celebrate the New Year, increasing population density and making construction highly likely to cause disturbance to them.

　　Through coordinated planning among multiple parties, the project team assigned dedicated personnel to monitor the high-speed/regular-speed separation fences and the existing line's overhead contact system, strictly implemented the construction requirements of the "Twenty-One Articles on Construction Safety Control," and strictly prevented machinery and personnel from encroaching on the line, ensuring the safety of construction adjacent to the existing line.
