Recently, Jingjiang City held the "New Spring ** Meeting" — the Development Zone Work Conference, mobilizing the whole city to highlight "project breakthrough, action first," adhere to "grasping major projects and grasping major projects," lead high-quality economic and social development with high-quality project construction, and gather strong momentum for Jingjiang City to firmly stand in the province's ** ranks. 　　In 2023, in the new journey of striving to launch the development zone's "second entrepreneurship and set off again," Jingjiang City won successive project breakthroughs: the Aerospace Xin Kong Rocket Power Industrial Park project with an investment of 11 billion yuan and the Jingjiang Special Steel Near-Zero-Carbon Electric Furnace Demonstration Series project with an investment of 3 billion yuan were successfully signed and settled; all six projects of the first phase of the Qingshan Industrial Park with a total investment of 5 billion yuan were fully put into production; and a modern "sea, land, and air" industrial system is accelerating its formation.

　　Economic growth remained at the forefront. In 2023, Jingjiang completed a regional GDP of 130 billion yuan, an increase of 7.5%; achieved port cargo throughput of 255 million tons, an increase of 6.1%; total imports and exports of 34.53 billion yuan, an increase of 19.7%; industrial invoicing exceeded the 200 billion yuan mark for the first time; and the growth rate of major economic indicators continued to lead Taizhou.

　　Cross-river integration opened a new chapter. A new round of cooperation agreements between Jiangyin and Jingyin was successfully signed, and the High-Quality Cross-River Integrated Development Conference was successfully held, promoting the Jiangyin-Jingjiang Industrial Park to straighten out its systems and mechanisms and achieve institutional upgrading. The business environment continued to improve, with the full implementation of "special task force services" for major engineering projects and "deemed approval upon timeout" for project approval. The development zone's business environment satisfaction rate reached 94%, and recognition as the "best business destination" was greatly enhanced.

In the new year, Jingjiang City will continue to increase the momentum of project attraction, ensure the completion of 50 newly signed projects of more than 500 million yuan within the year, continue to make new progress on projects exceeding 10 billion yuan, vigorously promote rapid construction for stable production and effective results, and ensure the achievement of the goals of 35 newly started "Three Comparisons and One Improvement" projects and more than 20 newly completed projects, supporting the city's economic and social development to continue to recover and improve with the good momentum of project construction.
