The Guangdong High-Quality Development Conference was held in Shenzhen on the 18th. It was learned at the conference that this year Guangdong Province plans to invest 1 trillion yuan in key construction projects.

　　Ai Xuefeng, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Director of the Provincial Greater Bay Area Office, said at the conference that this year 1,508 provincial key construction projects are scheduled, with an annual planned investment of 1 trillion yuan. More than half of these are industrial projects, and the four major categories of next-generation information technology, biology, high-end equipment manufacturing, and new materials bring together more than 370 projects with an annual investment of about 150 billion yuan.

　　"We will give full play to the mechanism of the general command headquarters for major engineering and construction projects, coordinate and resolve bottleneck problems in project advancement, and set up a supervision and service team for major projects. Projects with an annual planned investment of more than 500 million yuan will be followed up and served by the province, and projects of more than 100 million yuan will be followed up and served by the city, so as to solidly promote the accelerated construction of these projects and their rapid commissioning and effectiveness," said Ai Xuefeng.
