Last year, Cangzhou City actively undertook the relocation of Beijing's non-capital functions, accelerated the development of the coastal economic belt, promoted industrial transformation and upgrading, and made positive progress in key provincial and municipal projects. This was learned by reporters at a recent press conference held by the Information Office of the Municipal Government.

According to a relevant official of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Cangzhou City last year actively undertook the relocation of Beijing's non-capital functions, collected and organized more than 400 scientific and technological achievements and more than 130 enterprise technology demands from institutions and universities such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University, and absorbed technology contract transactions with Beijing and Tianjin exceeding 3 billion yuan. At the same time, it strengthened coordination with the Xiong'an New Area, and the window of the Huanghua Port Xiong'an Comprehensive Service Center was officially established in the Xiong'an New Area Comprehensive Bonded Zone.

Cangzhou City intensified its efforts in port transformation and upgrading and resource integration, newly opening five domestic and foreign trade routes to destinations including Argentina and Guangzhou, bringing the total to 35, with annual cargo throughput growing by 4.99%. Huanghua Port successfully joined the World Logistics Passport program, was selected for the national construction list as a port-type national logistics hub, and its pilot work on "green port development" under the Transport Powerhouse initiative passed acceptance by the Ministry of Transport.

Cangzhou City achieved industrial transformation and upgrading. Enterprises such as Xinhua Metallurgy and Xinhai Holdings were listed among the "Top 500 Chinese Enterprises," while enterprises such as Xinqiyuan and Lunte Chemical entered the province's "Top 100 Private Enterprises" in manufacturing. Cangzhou City accelerated the cultivation of strategic emerging industries, with the Hebei Branch Center of the National Beidou Navigation Position Service Data Center and the Hebei Provincial Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Public Service Center settling in Cangzhou.

Cangzhou City's 475 key provincial and municipal construction projects, with a total investment of 273.2 billion yuan, have made positive progress, including 50 key provincial construction projects with a total investment of 105.9 billion yuan. At the same time, it solidly advanced the work of municipal leaders taking charge of and liaising with projects, promptly resolved specific difficulties and problems, and strove to promote the rapid start, rapid construction, and rapid operation of key projects.
