Recently, the main works of the Sihong section of the Yanluo Expressway were completed. The Chengbei Interchange project, toll station, service area, and management buildings located in Dalou Subdistrict, Sihong County, are under accelerated construction.

The Sucheng to Sihong section of the Yanluo Expressway is a national expressway network project. The project connects the Xuzhou-Huai'an Expressway (G2513) to the east and the Suqian-Yangzhou Expressway to the west, with a total length of 38.18 kilometers and a total investment of 5.856 billion yuan. Of this, 30.3 kilometers lie within Sihong County, and the section is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2024.

The completion of the project will help improve the national expressway network, facilitate fast and direct connections between Sihong and the Central Plains and coastal areas, enhance the local status as a comprehensive transportation hub, and boost economic development.
