On the morning of January 18, a SANY SDC120 double-wheel trench cutter was successfully delivered to Guangdong Zhongda Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., contributing SANY's strength to Shenzhen's urban rail transit construction.

It is worth mentioning that in October 2021, Guangdong Zhongda Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. purchased a double-wheel trench cutter from an international brand, and also owns grab buckets and large rotary drilling rigs from other manufacturers. These machines enjoy a certain reputation and usage rate in the market.

Two years later, after having used equipment from other manufacturers, Guangdong Zhongda visited and inspected several SANY double-wheel trench cutter construction sites, and communicated with owners and operators many times. In the end, the SANY SDC120 double-wheel trench cutter, with its efficient working capability, stable operating performance and excellent quality control, left a deep impression on the customer and won the favor of Guangdong Zhongda.

This is another SANY heavy machine added by Guangdong Zhongda, following two SANY 405H and one 445H units. It is an affirmation of the quality and performance of SANY double-wheel trench cutters, a recognition of the SANY piling brand, and also demonstrates SANY's leading position in the market.

Powerful with high torque and high rotation speed, it adopts full-face tooth arrangement and, together with movable swing teeth, achieves efficient, dead-corner-free milling of hard rock and efficient penetration.

The industry's first combined pumping and air-lifting slag discharge makes deep trench slag discharge easy, speeds up slag discharge, improves slag discharge efficiency, and at the same time reduces the probability of pipe blockage.

The frame verticality adjustment and rotation device ensures the verticality of the milling wheel frame, and 12 sets of deviation correction devices are configured to correct the frame in real time during construction, ensuring high-quality trench formation.

The stable and continuous micro-feed speed reaches the millimeter level, perfectly meeting the slow feed requirements during hard rock construction.

Large-bore, long-stroke deviation correction cylinders provide large correction thrust and long correction distance, meeting the correction needs of hard strata and large deviations.

Adaptive adjustment of milling wheel speed, torque, winch lifting weight and lowering feed speed maximizes construction efficiency; drilling power and mud pump slag discharge power can be automatically allocated to maximize effective power utilization. 

◆ Automatic pipe arrangement

The mud winch automatically deflects to ensure that the winch direction is consistent with the pipe entry angle, avoiding mud pipe wear and extending the service life of the mud pipe.

◆ Comfortable operation

The flexible design of the mast cylinder effectively prevents vibration from the working device during construction from being transmitted to the cab, ensuring smooth driving.

◆ Convenient construction

During corner construction, the rotation function of the working device ensures that the working device can conveniently enter the trench.

◆ Convenient disassembly and assembly

During disassembly and relocation, the mud pipe and oil pipe can be fully retracted into the winch and transported together with the winch on a dedicated transport rack. 

◆ Long service life of wear parts

The steel-ring structure mud pipe is explosion-resistant and wear-resistant, with a long service life; a torque releaser is added at the fixed end of the wire rope to ensure stable internal structure without strand loosening and a long service life.
