Chart of the Proportions of the "Four Forms" Applied by Discipline Inspection and Supervision Organs Nationwide

　　According to the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission, in 2023, discipline inspection and supervision organs nationwide received a total of 3.452 million petitions and reports, including 1.057 million petitions and reports involving accusations and complaints. A total of 1.733 million problem clues were handled, including 363,000 through talks and inquiries. A total of 626,000 cases were filed, including cases filed against 87 officials under central management, 3,456 officials at the department and bureau level, 27,000 officials at the county and division level, and 89,000 officials at the township and section level; cases were filed against 61,000 current or former village Party branch secretaries and village committee directors. A total of 610,000 people were disciplined, including 498,000 subjected to Party discipline and 162,000 subjected to government sanctions; 49 officials at the provincial and ministerial level, 3,144 officials at the department and bureau level, 24,000 officials at the county and division level, 82,000 officials at the township and section level, 85,000 general officials, and 417,000 other personnel in rural areas, enterprises, and other sectors were disciplined.

　　In 2023, discipline inspection and supervision organs nationwide used the "four forms" to criticize, educate, and handle 1.718 million person-times. Among them, the ** form was used to criticize, educate, and handle 1.096 million person-times, accounting for 63.8% of the total; the second form was used to handle 492,000 person-times, accounting for 28.6%; the third form was used to handle 64,000 person-times, accounting for 3.7%; and the fourth form was used to handle 66,000 person-times, accounting for 3.9%.

　　Adhering to the principle of investigating both bribe-taking and bribe-giving, cases were filed against 17,000 bribe-givers, and 3,389 people were transferred to procuratorial organs.
