On-Site Demonstration of Fully Hydraulic Screw Pile Rig by Shandong Provincial Geological Prospecting Machinery Factory

On January 20, 2016, the Shandong Provincial Geological Prospecting Machinery Factory held a screw pile construction equipment exchange meeting in Fenghua, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. The conference invited screw pile construction experts and users to analyze the development direction of screw pile construction technology and pile foundation equipment, discuss topics such as the promotion of screw pile technology and the improvement and upgrading of pile foundation equipment, and visit a screw pile construction site.

　　The construction site is located on Huizheng East Road, Fenghua City, Zhejiang Province. The site's landform belongs to a coastal alluvial-proluvial plain. The site foundation lies below the groundwater level, with many types of rock and soil, relatively uneven conditions, and great variations in properties; the foundation complexity is rated Grade II. The constructed piles are 25 meters deep and must pass through a 10—15 meter gravel layer, making construction relatively difficult.

　　The LGZ-40 fully hydraulic multifunctional pile machine produced by the Shandong Provincial Geological Prospecting Machinery Factory has high power head torque, can perform pressurized construction, and has fast drilling speed, making it a major highlight of this on-site meeting.
