Guo Chuanxin, male, Han ethnicity, born in 1966. Graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in Hoisting, Transport and Construction Machinery. He currently serves as a member of the editorial board of 《Foundation Engineering》 magazine, Secretary-General of the Piling Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Society, concurrently Deputy Secretary-General of the Piling Machinery Branch of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, and Director and Researcher of the Beijing Institute of Construction Mechanization.
Since beginning his career, he has been engaged in the design and research of piling machinery. He has participated in dozens of scientific research and development projects and has repeatedly served as the person in charge of national and provincial/ministerial-level research topics. Main projects include:
DZ75K vibratory hammer. This project was a science and technology development project of the Ministry of Construction and passed appraisal by the Ministry of Construction in December 1993. The machine adopts dual-motor drive and is designed with a Ф500mm through-hole in the middle, allowing direct placement of reinforcement cages; free-fall hammer construction can be used for enlarged-base piles to improve post-construction bearing capacity.
XYR18 fully hydraulic crawler rotary drilling rig. This project was a 2003 special fund project for technology development research of scientific research institutes under the Ministry of Science and Technology, and passed appraisal by the Ministry of Construction in April 2005. The appraisal conclusion was: this rotary drilling rig is an advanced, efficient large-diameter cast-in-place pile construction equipment integrating mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems; its main features fill domestic gaps, and the overall performance is at the international advanced level. The machine is now in batch production. It won the second prize of the 2006 Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award.
ZLD110, 150 and 150A three-axis continuous wall drilling machines for the SMW method. Among them, the ZLD150 model was a 2004 special fund project for technology development research of scientific research institutes under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The ZLD110 model began batch production in 2000; the ZLD150 model completed trial production of its first prototype in October 2005 and was put into use, and is now in batch production. The development of this series of drilling machines can replace imports, further promote the application of the SMW method in China, improve the construction technology level of underground continuous walls, and will generate enormous economic and social benefits in urban transportation, underground engineering, water conservancy and other construction fields. The ZLD150 drilling machine won the third prize of the 2008 Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award.
Person in charge of the National "Eleventh Five-Year" Science and Technology Support Program project "Research and Industrialization Development of Construction Equipment for Deep Foundation Pit Support of Building Foundations". He has won one second prize and two third prizes for provincial/ministerial-level science and technology progress awards. He has served as chief editor of multiple national and industry standards, including "Rotary Drilling Rig", "Piling Equipment Safety Regulations", "Pile Frame", and "Continuous Flight Auger Drilling Machine".
