On the evening of July 6, Wuhan, Hubei experienced its strongest rainfall before midsummer, accompanied by thunderstorms, with waterlogging occurring in many parts of the city.

The center of this heavy rainfall event was mainly located in Enshi, Yichang, Xiaogan, Wuhan, and northern Huanggang. Given that the total rainfall during this year's plum rain season in Hubei Province has been below average, this event will be the last precipitation of the plum rain season.
