Recently, good news came from the National Coal Mine Support Equipment Quality Supervision and Inspection Center: the ZY12000/25.5/55D shield-type electro-hydraulic controlled hydraulic support, independently designed and manufactured by Beizhong Group Corporation of China Ordnance Industry Group, passed the type test on its first attempt and obtained the coal mine safety certificate.

　　The support has a working resistance of 12,000 kN and a maximum mining height of 5.3 meters. This is the high-end electro-hydraulic controlled hydraulic support with the highest working resistance and support height since the company began producing hydraulic supports in 1978. Its birth marks a major breakthrough in the company's hydraulic support R&D capability. At present, the hydraulic support has been sold to Yitang Coal Industry Co., Ltd. of Shanxi Kaijia Energy Group, achieving sales revenue of more than 62 million yuan.

　　The support can be applied to full-seam fully mechanized longwall mining faces. It has strong torsional resistance and can effectively solve problems such as “roof falls, rib spalling, and support sinking into the floor” during mining when used in working faces with three-soft coal seams (soft roof rock strata, soft main coal seams, and soft coal seam floor rock strata).
