In more than 10 years since joining the workforce, Li Guang has participated in the construction of many urgent, difficult, heavy, and dangerous municipal projects, including the Panxi River Reconstruction, Dagongguan Interchange, Yudao Road, Banan New Main Road, Longtousi Railway Station Road and ancillary projects, and Yunan Avenue. Starting as an ordinary construction worker, he was diligent and uncomplaining, thoughtful and eager to learn, and gradually accumulated rich construction management experience. For example, in the '5.12' Wenchuan earthquake relief battle, Li Guang took the lead and charged at the forefront of the team, leading the company's rescue commando team members to overcome the dangerous environment of continuous aftershocks, cliffs with flying rocks above, and deep gullies and dangerous ravines below, opening a 21-kilometer lifeline for the people in the disaster area of Anxian County, Sichuan, making positive contributions to earthquake relief and receiving high praise from the Chongqing Municipal Government and Anxian County Government. Similarly, in the 2009 Wulong Jiwei Mountain landslide rescue, he immediately led the first batch of 11 rescue team members to join the professional machinery rescue team of the Construction Engineering Group. After 8 consecutive days and nights of hard fighting, they repaired 450 meters of construction access roads, built 460 square meters of excavation platforms, and opened the transportation line between the north and south banks of the landslide area.
