据工程机械行业资深分析师表示，从8月份挖掘机销售情况看，8月份挖掘机在低技术上实现了较好增长，但要实现全年同比持平目标，压力仍然较大;在宏观经济弱复苏的背景下，相对于其它周期品，工程机械板块业绩弹性不大，股价表现将主要依赖于宏观预期改善带来的估值提升。 对于未来，将周期拉长，支撑中国工程机械行业发展的基础依然坚定存在，即处于加速期的城镇化进程。市场相对来说增幅优先、销量优先，未来 10-20年整个行业走向相对来说是看好的。经过前面20年的发展，东部的房地产，东部的基建已经相对饱和，并且对工程机械设备吸收相对较弱的程度。未来十年甚至更长时间行业要靠中西部的大发展。
