根据“三改四化”工程的总体部署，第二期“路改”工程已于本月初全面动工，江北城区人民路、建设路、朗州路、青年路、皂果路、滨湖路、紫缘路、双拥路、常德大道火车站段、长庚路、芙蓉路11条主次干道和75条小街小巷改造工程正有序展开。江南城区的金霞中路、鼎城路、善池路、大湖路、隆阳路等5条主次干道已开工建设，桥南路等13条主次干道完成招标，善卷路等10条主次干道完成施工图设计，23条小街小巷已开工建设。
在听取了各业主单位和施工单位对当前“路改”的施工组织、交通组织和工期安排的汇报后，会议明确，要以质量和安全为核心，全面加强组织领导和沟通，全力加强项目建设的公司化管理，全速推进工程建设进程，确保“路改”质量安全效果进度的完美统一。
