The regional engineering survey and design masters and regional excellent engineering survey and design awards presented this time cover more than 10 specialties including architecture, survey, transportation, and water conservancy. The "masters" possess profound professional theoretical foundations and rich practical experience, and are all academic and technical leaders in their respective fields. They have achieved outstanding results and enjoy high reputations in promoting the ecological, green, economic, technological, cultural, and Xinjiang-characteristic progress of the engineering survey and design industry. The award-winning projects are highly representative in their industry sectors, and their advanced survey and design concepts, new technologies for sustainable development, and application of new materials that strictly exceed national technical standards have all achieved good economic, social, and ecological environmental benefits.

Li Hongbin, Party Secretary of the Regional Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department, said that the survey and design masters and award-winning enterprises are the "vanguard" and "leaders" of the survey and design industry. They should offer more suggestions for the industry's development, strive to be doers and pragmatists, and contribute wisdom and strength to prospering architectural design, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the survey and design industry, and building the "Xinjiang Architecture" brand.

"Receiving this honor is both recognition and encouragement, and also a review and a spur," said Zuo Tao, Party Secretary and Chairman of Xinjiang Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. He stated that the institute will further implement the architectural policy of "applicability, economy, greenness, and aesthetics" and the construction concept of "technology, greenness, health, and intelligence," actively advance urban renewal actions and the construction of livable and workable beautiful villages and towns, intensify research and exploration of local architectural culture and regionally characteristic building technologies, promote the application of new technologies such as green buildings, prefabricated buildings, low-energy buildings, and building energy efficiency, and meet the public's demand for more convenient, comfortable, and better urban and rural living with more outstanding works.

Announcement of the Regional Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department and the Regional Human Resources and Social Security Department on the List of Regional Engineering Survey and Design Masters and Regional Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Awards

According to the "Measures for the Management of the Selection of Regional Engineering Survey and Design Masters and Regional Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Awards," the Regional Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department and the Regional Human Resources and Social Security Department jointly organized and carried out the selection of regional engineering survey and design masters and regional excellent engineering survey and design awards. Upon review and approval, it is decided to confer the title of Regional Engineering Survey and Design Master on 20 comrades including Ding Bing, and to grant the Regional Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Award to 50 projects including Phase II of the Innovation Plaza in Urumqi High-tech Zone (New Urban District).
