Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the "2023 List of Green Manufacturing Enterprises," and CRCC Heavy Industry was named a "National Green Factory." This is another honor following its recognition as a "Hunan Provincial Green Factory" in 2022.

It has undertaken the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's green manufacturing system integration special project "Key Process Breakthroughs and Integrated Demonstration for Green Remanufacturing of Shield Machines," focusing on research and application of key component forming and repair technologies such as laser cladding, efficient green cleaning technologies such as laser cleaning, and efficient purification treatment of hydraulic oil. Combining advanced technologies such as virtual disassembly, environmentally friendly coating, system testing, and remote monitoring, and addressing the problem that traditional tunneling machine products have not formed a full life-cycle closed loop, the company has innovated its product design process to achieve green product design oriented toward remanufacturing, made breakthroughs in key processes and technologies such as precision repair and component cleaning, closed the full life-cycle chain of tunneling machine products, and realized green remanufacturing and reuse of equipment. This has pioneered a green remanufacturing model for tunneling machines covering the full life cycle of product design-manufacturing-operation monitoring-recycling-evaluation-remanufacturing-testing-reuse-operation monitoring.
