Currently, Suzhou High-Speed Rail New Town is closely monitoring project progress, with a focus on three RMB 10 billion-level projects: the Suzhou North Station TOD Comprehensive Development, the Suzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, and the Yangtze River Delta Digital Finance City, while simultaneously accelerating the construction of 12 provincial and municipal key projects. In recent days, construction sites across all projects have been filled with an atmosphere of hard work and dedication, going full speed ahead to sound the "drumbeat of progress" for project construction and striving to get 2024 off to a good start.

　　The Yangtze River Delta Innovation R&D Headquarters Base project is divided into two plots, north and south. The north plot includes 6 headquarters office buildings and supporting facilities, while the south plot includes 3 headquarters office buildings, an automobile park, and commercial supporting facilities. Once completed, the project will provide high-quality space for attracting premium projects with large investment scale, high technological content, strong radiating and driving effects, and substantial output benefits. At present, the north plot project is in the foundation construction stage; pile foundation work has been completed, and retaining pile construction is 95% complete, advancing in an orderly and efficient manner according to the overall project control schedule.

　　"To ensure completion of one support beam before the Spring Festival, we have re-formulated the pre-holiday schedule and construction plan. By adding machinery and equipment, increasing construction personnel, and extending working hours, we have shortened the construction time for the retaining system of the foundation pit support works from 135 days to 79 days," said the project manager.

　　At the construction site of Phase II of the Yangtze River Delta International R&D Community Launch Area, workers are orderly installing exterior wall panels and curtain walls. At present, the project has completed secondary structural masonry and is in the stage of civil engineering decoration, mechanical and electrical works, curtain walls, and outdoor engineering construction. Mechanical and electrical work is 60% complete, curtain wall work is 70% complete, and outdoor engineering has commenced on site, with the project striving toward full completion in 2024.

　　Phase II of the Yangtze River Delta International R&D Community Launch Area has a total investment of approximately RMB 2 billion and a total floor area of about 212,700 square meters, with a maximum building height of 96 meters. Once completed, it will host the Yangtze River Delta Industrial Innovation Center for Quantum Technology, conducting quantum technology research and commercialization of results, and attracting more scientific and technological innovation resources.

　　According to the relevant project manager, the site currently has more than 20 professional management personnel and more than 260 construction workers across various trades. To ensure completion of civil engineering, curtain walls, and the main outdoor rainwater and sewage pipelines before the Spring Festival, the project has prepared a construction schedule for before and after the holiday. On the premise of ensuring safe construction, measures such as optimizing construction procedures and increasing personnel and equipment will be taken to maintain efficient project operation and ensure the project meets its targets on schedule.

　　At the site of the New Infrastructure Intelligent Transportation project, engineering vehicles shuttle back and forth, tower cranes and other large machinery are busy lifting, and more than 1,600 builders are working on the front line, creating a bustling construction scene. Once completed, the project will mainly serve R&D and pilot testing of key components and related technologies for intelligent vehicles, with the goal of becoming a benchmark for the intelligent connected vehicle industry in the Yangtze River Delta region.

　　Since construction began in January 2023, buildings have been rising one after another at the project site. To ensure completion of the scheduled topping-out task, the construction unit has strengthened its grid-based regional management mechanism, worked backward from deadlines, and accelerated progress. Main structure construction is now 70% complete.

　　Other key projects in Suzhou High-Speed Rail New Town are also progressing steadily. Major projects are the "ballast stone" for stabilizing growth and the "strong engine" for high-quality development.
